"We had Luxury vinyl tile installed in our downstairs bedroom, bathroom and Laundry room. It is beautiful. It makes the floor warmer and is easy to clean. Upstate Floor Coverings International took care of everything involved with the installation - moved furniture, prepared the existing flooring to act as vapor barrier, installed the floating floor, and stained and install trim, It looks great and absolutely no hassle."

"Very pleased with sales, installers and office adm"

"I felt belittle, I explained on the phone we only needed someone to put down the vinyl planks cause we already bought it. He looked at what we bought basically said it was cheap and said it would be 4700 dollars just for labor."

"He sold us new flooring, flooring has not been installed yet, but he’s a great salesman."

"The scheduler did not tell me I had to furnish materials, so wrapping porch columns in vinyl could not be done. I assumed quoted price included materials. It did not. The workman who did the other jobs (repairing stairs, cutting off a door, fixing an ill hanging door and repairing two cabinet hinges) did a good job. However the scheduler corrected the price and quoted $1257 for the work accomplished, which only took 6 hours. That is over $200 an hour. Happy with the work, unhappy with the price."

"They complete tore down and removed my old deck and replaced it with a beautiful, elegant composite decking. I am beyond happy with the outstanding beautiful workmanship provided by a very professional builder. I am so exited about my new deck. I highly recommend this builder. I promise you will be very pleased."

"I was not offered any of the advertised discounts. Shortly after the install was done Empire advertised a large discount. Since my installation was complete I was not able to take advantage of it. The cost of doing 4 steps was prohibitive. I am installing another product on the steps since Empire does not do stairs except for carpeting. There was confusion on the install date. The installers didn't have enough to finish the job and had to return the next week ti finish. The installers did a great job. The cost was over $7 a square foot."

"Andrew and his crew were great to work with on a floor joist, flooring, and ceiling repair project we recently had in Greenwood, SC. They were honest, flexible to our needs, on time, good with communication, on budget, reliable, and quick workers that met our deadline. And they even sent lots of pics of their before and afterwork. We highly recommend and will hire again! Thanks Andrew!"

"So my wife and I decided to get new floors for the entire house and after getting a couple estimates from other companies, I discovered Golden Strip Flooring. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a flooring professional. Noel and his dad were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, punctual, and a real pleasure to have around as they were working. They were very approachable with any questions I had, and, as other reviewers have noted, kept us informed every step of the process. From the first meeting to picking out materials to installation, I donâ t feel like it could have gone any smoother. I have a hang-up where I always feel a twinge (big or small) of buyers remorse after making a big purchase. Let me tell whoever might read this review that when they were finished, not only did they meet my expectations, they blew them out of the water. First time I didnâ t have even a hint of buyerâ s remorse. It looks so flipping good! If this review will let me attach photos, Iâ ll include some. Summary: Great experience with an amazing finished product from top to bottom. If/when I have flooring jobs in the future, I will not hesitate to call them again. Again, I highly recommend these guys!"

"

My mother hired Universal Lawn and Floor to help me with my yard. She said Mr. Young was very professional, kind, hard working and punctual.  She was thrilled that she found him after speaking to one of my other neighbors on recommending someone.  This neighbor said he did tile work for her and she was pleased.  Overall, excellent experience and outcome from the perspective of both my mother saying he was reasonable priced, and myself, with the beautiful yard, Mr. Young did an amazing job, it is perfect.  Thank you!!!!
