"Grant and his team did an excellent job installing a new gas fireplace along with a mantel and custom hearth. Communication was great, very friendly service, and high quality work. I would highly recommend Linnius construction for any home repairs and remodels."

"Eliot has done numerous projects for me and I am never disappointed. He was quick to get me his bid and willing to explain anything I didn't understand. I found his pricing to be very competitive and we discussed any changes that may have needed to be made. He trimmed out the windows in my home, repaired some damaged siding and all the work was done in a timely manner. I especially appreciated his job site cleanliness. I highly recommend Wood Remodeling for any home remodel."

Small jobs welcome

"Dan is very personable & easy to communicate with and works steadily to finish the job in a timely manner. He listens to what you want and does his best to fulfill your plan. He is reasonably priced and available for discussion of work when needed. He built a great free standing car port for 3 cars which has added a lot to our property and looks very nice. He also closed in my porch to make a great sun room which has double-paned windows with screens for winter and summer. I am very happy with his work ethic and will hire him again. He also did jobs for my son and daughter who are quite pleased with the end result and timely manner in which he did the work."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Sisters, OR

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
