"I cannot speak for all the concerns provided below, but these guys were great! Mike was consistent with the communication and Jack was very professional and on site daily to see the project through. I received 5 quotes from 5 different companies (including J. Sitko). After reviewing all the estimates, I initially decided to go with another company because they were a little cheaper than J. Sitko. However, after numerous attempts to gain clarity on the final price for the porch I wanted, the winning bid stalled me out. Unknown to J. Sitko, I initially wanted to do the job with them anyway based on how Jack explained the process and how diligent Mike was in providing reassurance as to how the project would go. Needless to say, what is suppose to happen... happened and I am glad I decided to go with them. Being home during the process allowed me to see the craftsmanship and care they put into building my porch. If there are any doubts or concerns with this company/crew, remove it and you will find out for yourself. There was no hassling to do the job or regarding payment. This crew is reliable, more than I have seen in many years doing remodels. Some companies talk. This company went to action. Thank you J. Sitko and crew!"

"This company did an excellent job! They work fast and are efficient but also do quality work with attention to detail and address all concerns that you ask them too. We were incredibly happy with their work and will be hiring them again for future projects. The pricing is fair and the work is honest and well done. I would highly recommend this company for masonry or related work. We also had a neighbor that had their deck done with this company and they were very happy as well."

"I had a small job and trouble finding professional help for my small job replacing the shingles on the roof of my wood garden shed -- 12x6 size. Once I removed the tools inside to prepare for their work, I realized I also needed the floor replaced. They completed both jobs within a few hours; they cleaned up afterwards, I am now prepared for keeping my lawnmower and other tools dry and ready for next season. They were a pleasure to work with. Their price was fair."

"This was an extensive replacement of a rear porch and garage deck that required replacement of house siding, side fence, and essentially all but the inner frame of a 2 car garage. The work was conducted will full city inspection at several key stages of build. The impressive aspects of the job were the multiple components and the flexibility of Smart Houses to modify and adapt the design parameters as obstacles were encountered and to add on small extra components that arose during the job. Communication was good and cost creep was within expectations for a 150 year old house."

"The workers did a very good job on our deck."

"They built a deck on my home and they did a beautiful job. I would recommend this company"

"Robert and his crew at Home Construction & Renovation do excellent work. I hired them to frame out a couple of soffits, some interior partition walls, and replace a load bearing wall with an LVL header as part of remodel. Robert was very communicative and helped worked through some issues with the structural engineer. His crew was efficient and precise. I highly recommend them."

"The foreman that was supposed to do the work had a heart attack. They took three weeks to replace him but that person was good. They did a good job and had a good price. They were efficient but the work is not finished."

"The job was done in the stated timeline . Communication was good. We are very happy with the deck!"

"Awesome guy helped with building multiple pieces of furniture and also helped decorate a room in an expansion room."
