"We are so happy we hired Alvin for our home remodel! We were very anxious going into it because we've never had remodeling work done before. Alvin, however, was trustworthy, kind, and communicative. He did a lot of the work himself, but he also brought in a team of specialists, including someone really skilled at tile work for our bathroom and fireplace tiles. He was patient with my questions and indecisiveness, particularly as it was hard for me to choose a countertop. He also double checked to make sure I liked how things were turning out before he finished each part of the remodel. We had the bathroom floors re-tiled, both bathroom vanity counters replaced, one bathroom's tub surround re-tiled, and exhaust fans installed in both bathrooms. In the kitchen he installed new countertops, new tiles for the backsplash, and a new range hood that he ducted to the outdoors. We also had new tiling installed on our fireplace. Finally, he redid our front deck, which was rotting and unsafe. We're very happy with all the work he did, and we would definitely hire him again! Perhaps most importantly, Alvin loves cats! He was careful not to let my indoor cats outside, and he took time to greet them each time he came to do work. My oldest cat loves him and runs over to welcome him as soon as he comes in the door."

He also took the trash with them. He hauled his trash away which is a part of process. I just texted him to see if he would be able to fix my fence. "Mike is honest, courteous and fair. we had a good experience overall but he does need more experience with actual remodeling, i.e. electrical and plumbing. My hubby, who does have plumbing and wiring experience, was able to be home and assist and oversee the remodel. we needed labor help as my hubby and I are senior citizens. EZ bath, another company, did the actual bathtub/shower remodel portion for both bathrooms. Mike did the rest of the bathroom remodel; i.e,, paint, install new vanity, integrated sink/countertop in main bathroom, and pedestal sink in back bathroom, as well as all-in-one exhaust/heat/light units in both bathrooms and medicine cabinets/mirrors. we kept toilets and already replaced flooring prior to remodel. Due to my hubby assisting with the remodel and us shopping for most of the items for our remodel, we were able to get a significant savings over original estimate. overall, i would recommend Mike's business. at the time of our remodel, he had only one helper, who unfortunately injured himself at his home and was unable to help with the most of the remodel. i believe our project offered Mike valuable experience!"
