"My townhouse is over 25 years old and still had the original builder roof. I started thinking about replacing it since a few of my neighbors had their roofs replaced mainly due to a recent storm that blew shingles off their homes. Being a super busy homeowner, I haven't had the time to even think of it so I put it on the back burner until... Michael Anthony arrived at my house to talk to me about replacing my old worn out roof. Our discussion detailed HCR ‘s roof replacement system - an education for me since all I thought was the old shingles were taken off the roof and new ones stapled on. Let me tell you roof replacement with HCR is not like that at all. Michael explained each step of the system to me. First, the old shingles are scraped off the roof. Then a 2mm barrier shield Is layed over the plywood sub roof to keep out moisture, and then the shingles are nailed on - three nails per shingle. This, he told me, would anchor the shingles so that in case of high winds they would not blow off. Did I tell you about the warranty? My new roof will not give me any worries for at least 25 years and it is transferable to a new owner of my townhouse should I ever decide to sell it. Oh yeah, if a shingle does blow off, they will come and repair it. Peace of mind! The HCR crew was very professional. They started scraping the old shingles off just as soon as they arrived at my job site. After all the old worn out shingles were off the roof, the fun began. It was amazing to me to watch a crew member swiftly carry each package of shingles up a very tall ladder to the roof. By the time all the packages were on top of the roof, the barrier shield was laid out. Then each single shingle was laid down and nailed. After all shingles were in place, the crew cleaned up the debris in my yard and in my neighbors’ yards. My new roof looks amazing! Michael contacted me on the day of the install to check on the progress. All went well! I now have a very beautiful roof that I don't have to worry about replacing for at least 25 years. "The crew was working on my neighbors roof and while briefly talking with one of the workers he mentioned seeing exposed shingle nails on my roof. They took pictures and showed me what they were seeing. Manager Elier Flores came out and did a full inspection and quoted reasonable prices for the needed repairs to include replacing the ridge cap. I have had several different roofers out within the last 5 years of owning this townhouse. I have had to have the ridge cap repeatedly repaired. This is the first company to show me before and after pictures along with providing an explanation of why they had a better solution vs their competitors. "Hire this Contractor!! Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Mike and crew were superb workers, tidy, punctual, and tenacious when it came to getting a difficult job completed. We are extremely pleased with the work. They replaced the main house roof shingles, repaired a carport that had some rotten rafters, sheathing, and facia, put on a really nice TPO sheathing designed for a low-pitched roof. All wood was wrapped, and gutters installed. The detailed processes for all work was phenomenal. Mike oversaw all details, as well as doing much of it himself. Mike's crew did excellent work even when Mike wasn't present, and they were extremely courteous and respectful, and took a lot of pride in their work. "Their gutter guy put some gutters on my house and I was not impressed with that so far. Three of them already topped off. They didn't do that great of a job. When I did have a leak in the house, I had to call them like four or five times to get them to come over to repair it and finally, it just got to the point where I just said to heck with it and I decided to get somebody else to do it. Their guy never called me. I waited for him all day. They did a beautiful job on the roof. I was impressed with that but if anything goes wrong, they weren't so good. They did an excellent job doing the house. They cleaned up but I didn't think it was that great because I ended up with three flat tires from nails. Other than that, they were very courteous and everything else. They did fine. I was happy with it. They did show up with the wrong shingles and started putting them on and thank God I was there that day and stopped it. I'd recommend them to somebody else with the portion that once they're done, it may take you a while to get them back to repair anything. They were pretty good on their prices."
