"I needed to have a window balance replaced. When he completed the initial estimate, I needed to have two window balances replaced because he broke a second one. I was charged to the parts and labor to replace both. Costs are not disclosed. For example, I was charged $198.89 for MH.MRE.605.0100 and $115.90 for MH.MTA.000.0004. Eventually I found out that the $115.90 was to locate and pick up the parts. There was also a Service Charge. When I asked what that was for, I was told "a fee for lack of a better term." My original estimate was for $300.13 but I ended up paying $412.78. There are better and more transparent options than Mr. Handyman."

Jose and his employees completed renovations on three floors, including a complete bathroom remodel, flooring installation, whole house painting, including ceilings, and installing new fixtures, faucets, doors, and lighting throughout the entire home. In addition, he took on a garage remodel, power, washing, landscaping, repairing of my brick front steps, and installations of new screens. Jose also coordinated the installation of a new driveway that was very lengthy and steep as well as new sidewalks around the home. Last, he completely remodeled and stained my old, dilapidated deck, producing gorgeous results that I never would have believed possible. Jose is a hard worker and a creative problem solver. Calking and trim work was very sloppy. Went through the shower wall into my bedroom, did sparkle wall and left it. Shower doors have leaked and was finally told six months later that there is nothing they can do to correct the issue. Originally quoted $24,000.00 for the walk on shower, eventually agreed to $11,500.00. Completely dissatisfied with my shower. Once they get their payment, they are done."
