"In 2022, we decided to add a new kitchen and substantially remodel our mid-1960s Edmonds rambler. After reading many on-line reviews and meeting with several contractors we decided to go with Johnson and Sons.....and we are so very happy that we did. From the very start we were impressed with how open, honest and responsive Vic Johnson was, a trend that continued throughout our project. As you might imagine, a significant remodel and addition to a 60-year old home is likely to bring with it surprises and our remodel was no exception. Despite the many challenges encountered, Johnson and Son and their subcontractors readily overcame them. Among the many lessons we learned during our remodel was the value of quality subcontractors. Vic's relationship with his subs in some cases extend more than a decade and the depth of these relationships was reflected by the quality and timeliness of their work. "J J Construction owner Khoa Ha completely replaced my upper and lower decks with composite. He solved many problems we were facing with the decks and designed a system to deflect rain water away from the house. The upper deck was 48'x12' and the lower deck 14'x21', also replaced existing stairs, added bench seating. and lights. In addition he also repaired/reflashed metal roof on the lower back of the house and address foundation concerns. His team were great to work with, hard working, professional and courteous. We could not be happier with the results of this 4 week project. I highly recommend J J Construction for any project. We will be using him on future projects as well such as house painting, and some interior remodeling in the coming year."

"Professional, courteous, reliable, honest, hard working, thoughtful and everything you want in a contractor. I have worked with many companies but I have never been this impressed. First of all, the owner is great to work with. He showed up everyday to make sure everything went according to plan. He was very meticulous and brought out a structural engineer several times to make sure that things were done safely and we wouldn’t have any problems down the road. He always had great ideas and what I appreciated was that he wasn’t always trying to upsell you and had cost in mind because re-modeling projects always have unexpected surprises. Gashin took our outdated downstairs and completely changed the look of our home into a stunning modern home. They took out all the tile flooring and installed new hardwood floors, took down several walls to make an open concept space for our kitchen and dining room, refaced the fireplace, installed a new island and countertops for the kitchen, and all the small things involved in a renovation like ours. To add, they did all this in about 6 weeks. I appreciate how our project was not in conjunction with others which helped to make the whole process super timely. Yes, there was dust but they covered everything up and made sure that the zone was clean every night.
