"Simon Roofing was a "Barn Saver" for me! We hired a Roofing Company a few of years ago to do repairs due to wind. That "company" took our money (over $2000) and never stepped foot on our property, we never recovered our losses! We were quite soured over the whole experience. Simon Roofing was a Blessing! "Was referred to chad from a friend, he was very helpful on what I needed to know and also discussed my roof age and the scenarios of waiting to re roof in 2 years or doing it with the solar. "The floors themselves ended up looking very  good, however during the process the molding transitions between the floors and tile was torn up and not replaced, the baseboards were beat up to the point that all needed repaining and cable feeds that came up through the floor were pushed down in two of the rooms. When we complained about the molding they first denied they had done it, then saw the logic that it couldn't be anyone else and agreed to replace it. They showed up with new modling as one long piece that had been removed was broken in half. When I inspected it afterwards I found that they had reinstalled the broken piece as well as the other old pieces and it looked terrible, especially next to the nicely done floors, like putting a beautiful picture in a crappy frame.
We had arranged for them to put molding down in a bedroom but cancelled the order and won't use them again. I might have got past the banged up baseboards and lost cabel feeds but when they went cheap and didn't put down $5 worth of quarter round to nicely finish the room it told me volumes about their workmanship and customer service.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
