They have a great eye for design as well, which we found really helpful - they would ask us for input on decisions where we had personal preferences and took care of the small decisions where we didn't have preferences in ways that made a lot of sense. This was our first remodel and they were really great about giving us advice and steering us away from decisions that might be costly or not work well. They are highly responsive and quick to resolve issues. We were also really impressed by their accuracy on the cost estimate. They charged us exactly what they said they would, and anything that added cost was discussed, agreed to beforehand, and documented on the invoices. "I can't recommend the Curtice Group enough! We did a kitchen renovation, including design and construction, with them in 2024 and the process was quick, the team was extremely communicative, and the end product is gorgeous! In October 2023, we started the design process with them to see what would be possible with our kitchen area that was out-of-date and not functional for our family.Eric Curtice came by a few times to do thorough measurements of our space in order to render some designs for us to look through. Scott, the owner, gave us a breakdown of costs; he was very practical about what he thought was important and what was not, balancing need with price. It was so refreshing to get such a granular view of exact costs before diving into a renovation project. After design, we decided to go forth with construction, which kicked off in early January 2024. Scott's team set us up a temporary kitchen (including a dishwasher) which made living under construction so easy. The project manager, Shawn, was there every single weekday, and Scott came at the start of most weeks to check on progress. The Curtice Group team were incredibly communicative the entire time, giving us updates via email about timeline and costs. We were done with our project by mid-March (just 2.5 months!) and we're thrilled with the end result. Even better, we came in a little under budget. You should absolutely hire this group. We'll definitely be calling them for future projects!"

"I chose Humberto out of 4 contractors and feel so fortunate I did!  Humberto went above and beyond in ALL aspects of the job!  We threw him several curve balls with wanting a wall removed, floors refinished and some cabinetry work done.  He drew up change orders efficiently, and brought in excellent people to complete all the work we requested.  The quality of his work, THOROUGH preparation, attention to detail, communication, cleanliness during the entire project, the final result...ALL were an A+!  I was nervous about having our kitchen cabinets painted as I had read pros and cons with different applications.  The method they used left our cabinets looking BRAND NEW...everyone that has seen them has said, "Oh, you got new cabinets, they're beautiful!"  Humberto installed all new hardware for us as well.  I can't say enough about the experience we had with them.  I was 100% comfortable having them in our home, and they are super nice and polite on top of being EXCELLENT at their craft! <br />"

"Reno started in August with Marc going through the house making sure that I hadn't missed anything. There was a closet that still had stuff in it because I couldn't reach the back of it. (This had been my parent's retirement home. I had lived with them for a few years before I finally moved out.) He was careful with the living room wallpaper when putting up the dust walls. The demo was complete in record time and dust in my temporary kitchen was minimal. New stonework stairs were built front and back for access from the driveway and to the back yard by Peter and his crew. They worked really hard, They filled in two of my basement windows as part of the remodel too. The stairs are beautiful. When spring comes around again they will be a great place to sit and enjoy a bit of sunshine. Duane and Francisco were fantastic when it came to the woodwork. The put in the cabinets and the pocket door and put in all new baseboard and molding around my windows to match the existing moldings. The electrician, Tony, and his team were really great too. The wiring was crazy, not bad, just 65 years old and done in a weird way. Many wires went through a set of switches that I needed to use. I now have working doorbells, extra outlets where I need them and more lighting and the kitchen than I dreamed possible. It's far from the fixture in the center of the ceiling and one over the sink that I used to have. I also have smoke detectors that don't need batteries anymore and don't go off anytime I cook bacon. Duane and Marc spent a lot of time drilling tile in my bathrooms putting in grab bars. It may be over kill to some but I am getting older and I am set up to be able to grab a bar whether I am standing, bending over or even sitting on a stool or in my tub. The bathrooms are beautiful, thanks guys. I had planned to do more to the garage and cut back to just changing out the door. Instead I insulated my walk-in attic with closed cell insulation. Yes it was expensive but it was worth it. I can already see the change in my heating costs. It is now too hot in my bedroom. The heat from downstairs used to go upstairs and then into the attic and out. Now it stays in the bedroom. I am sleeping under a sheet instead of a comforter while I work out how to set my thermostats. I added having the living room wallpaper stripped and then having the whole room painted including the ceiling. This was a mistake. The ceilings had been done with calcimine. The painters came back several times to correct the problem and finally got the ceiling looking good. They really worked hard. Finally I could get my furniture back into the house. This was 4 days before Christmas. With help I was able to have the family come for Christmas day and fun was had by all. The upstairs bathroom was in working order only needing a few grab bars and towels bars to be complete. We would have been done the first week of January but we were waiting for some scribe molding from the cabinet company which didn't come in until early February. I added in replacing my front door and a screen door on the new back door out to the yard which was done in January and were the last change orders on my project. Mike the lead contractor answered texts in a timely manner and checked in with me when ever there was a change in schedule. There is also an online dashboard with a calendar showing what is scheduled and who will be doing what when. Everyone was nice and polite, asked before using the indoor sinks and bathrooms when necessary and I was very happy with everyone who worked on this job. I would use this group again and recommend them highly."
