"If you are looking for a new air conditioner, keep looking. This company is not to be trusted. They did the bait and switch when I bought my new a/c. We ordered a 31/2 ton and they brought a 3-ton. I would have had no idea what they were doing except I looked at the box the a/c came in and saw that it was a 3-ton. The joker who was the salesperson made some lame excuse that he had changed the order because we did not need a 31/2 ton. I had to argue with this company to get a refund for the more expensive 31/2 unit. That was back in Sep 2020. Fast forward to today (May 2023) when I called to have them come out and perform their yearly maintenance check. I bought their 10-year warranty with the proviso that these checks will be done every year with any labor, and parts at no charge to me. I was told that for them to come out it would cost $170 BE ADVISED/BUYER BEWARE."

As a family-run business, the importance of family has always been at the forefront of our company. Mark and Miranda Paup set out on a new journey in 1999, the company was originally named City Rule and later switched to Golden Rule in 2007. The Golden Rule name was chosen for the reason of what we stand for, treating others how we would want to be treated. In the beginning City, Rule had 4 service trucks. Heating and cooling were added to our services in 2005 and we switched to primary service in 2008. Through the years and many changes, the company continued to grow: more employees, more trucks, and more customers.
