After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"Our 4-year-old microwave stopped working (no display, nothing). After doing some research online I unplugged it and plugged it back in. It started humming very loudly and displayed a PF (power failure) error, indicating a blown fuse or a control board failure. Wintley Baptiste from The Equipment Doctors stopped by two days after I made contact through Angi. He diagnosed the problem as a failed control board and said he would have to order the part and come back in 7-10 days to install it. He gave me an estimated price for the part and labor to install it and asked if I wanted to proceed. I said yes (if I had said no, I would owe $150 for the visit and diagnosis). Wintley called a week later, saying he had the part and could stop by that same day to install it. He did so and the microwave is working fine. The price to repair the microwave was $330. By comparison, a new microwave would have cost at least $500."

"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

"I bought cabinets here years ago but I wanted to make a comment about Brian and his character. Totally unrelated to appliance service but speaks to the character of the man. I lost an envelope of cash in Big Y recently. I was a wee bit frantic not knowing where I could have lost it. I finally remembered going into shop. Dejectedly, I called Big Y and yes they did have it !! turned by none other than Brian Angelo. Who does that ? Thanks Bro your a good man. A little something coming your way . Bless"

"My refrigerator died and I called Jimmy as he came up as local and highly rated in my google search. He said he was super busy but was able to squeeze me in. He came as promised and after checking the board and compressor told me what part needed to be replaced and what he would have to charge me to replace it but that I could probably do it myself for less as it only required 1 screw to remove and a couple of connectors to unplug to take out the part. I got the part, switched it out in 2 minutes and I was back in business. The flat rate charge for the visit ended up saving me hundreds and the need to go buy a new refrigerator. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and, above all, upfront and honest which is hard to find in his line of work.I couldn't be more enthusiastic in my endorsement of his work."
