"I like them a lot.  They are very good.  I got a group on for $21 and it was for a total of four hundred square feet.  My carpet looks great and much cleaner.  It's a dark carpet and I can see the section that is clean and the section that isn't.  The rug is already dark so it wasn't that it was wet but it's lightened up.  They were very polite and they showed up early as I had them scheduled.  They were very professional and very personable.  They did a great job.  It looks fantastic and the carpets look like new again.  I called them this morning and they came this afternoon.  I would definitely get them again if I have to clean these rugs again."

"Never took a break, working straight through until the job was done.  Carpets look great and will be dry in about 6-8 hours.  Though there is a newer dry method out there that is more expensive, I prefer the standard long hose method - call me nostalgic. <br>They were, quick, efficient and motivated to do the job right and they did! <br>Thank you Real Deal for hiring only the best. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"<p>I did not use this company's installer, so the cost shown is just for materials.  This was a mistake, as this company only uses excellent installers, for their distinctive and high-quality products, and often watch-over/check-on the installation; which I found-out upon my more recent, second dealing with this company.</p> <p>This product was glued directly upon the cement, after carpet/ceramic tile was removed, and has been the perfect surface for maintainability; it looks like real wood planks, yet can be cleaned with a wet mop or just dusted and looks great.</p> <p>This company has many of the highest-quality products, and also a huge selection of all types and cost ranges of flooring - hardwood, laminate, vinyl and carpeting; their name is almost a misnomer.  They will gladly assist you with this huge variety to ensure you get exactly what you want.</p> <br />"

"The salesman was very helpful and took time to explain about the different types of mattresses. He was personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back and ask for Tom when I shop for my next mattress."

"Remodeling a home is a scary thing because you never know who to trust and you need it to turn out like you have imagined in your head. The key is to find someone who you connect with and knows enough about each product to guide you in the right direction. We were lucky enough to find that advocate in Bob Dallas. He came over before we began the remodel to measure and as soon as he lifted the old carpet and realized that the current pad was still in GREAT shape, he suggested we may want to keep it. We had not even started and already this guy was saving us money!!! Selecting carpet is tough but we looking at 100's of samples and Bob helped us to find the right fit for our use with kids and a dog. His tastes are very nice but he has a budget-oriented mind so we stayed in budget and are very happy. The hardwood we purchased from him is beautiful and is taking a beating very well. The installers arrived when they said they would and left everything very clean. <br /> We heard they have window coverings there and have not gotten to that part of out house yet but plan to go back to Bob once we decide which windows need it. Overall, a <strong>very good</strong> experience and I just referred my Mom and one of my co-workers to go there. <br />"

"Scott and his team did a wonderful job. Any concerns i had were quickly and efficiently dealt with. In fact, we are so happy with the work that we are having Scott and his team perform a major remodel of our house early in 2019. We are adding a second floor to the house and doubling its size. We have every confidence the work will be performed to the highest standards."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in South Lake Tahoe, CA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
