"I hired Bob to do repairs and renovation of a condo rental unit. He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a great problem solver and works with you to suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. His work is high quality. I would definitely hire him again."

"Bertie was recommended to us by a friend for some work that he completed in Jamaica Plain. We recently built a 2nd floor on our cape in Milton and needed walls and ceilings in three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway and stairwell. Bertie was prompt with his bid and was extremely flexible with his start date. He was finished with the entire job in less than four days, which was incredibly impressive. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready. I would absolutely hire Bertie again in a second if the need ever arises again."

"This was one of the best experiences I've had with workers coming to my home, being pleasant, personable, skilled, punctual, and professional. Gerry and Kyle (father and son) were fantastic to work with. Gerry performed the estimate, made some suggestions to improve the look of the house, and made me feel like I was in capable hands. They went above and beyond just painting my home, with rotted wood replaced, flashing installed, putting the screens in and out, and fixing a previously poorly installed window (all included in the price, no add on charges). My house looks fantastic! As a single woman, I did not feel patronized, but felt very comfortable having "strangers" around my home. (If you're a single woman, this is a big deal.) And I no longer consider them strangers. The estimate was not the lowest or highest and I feel I received a very good value for my money. I would hire them for other work in a heartbeat."

"Installed double therma tru fiberglass front doors. Arrived when they said, had the old doors out quick and went to work on the new doors. Hit a snag when the new doors were slightly wider than the opening, but the knew exactly what to do. Doors and new trim look amazing. I need to paint everything, but will post a picture unpainted for now. The best part is that I purchased the 8 hr special for $299. They sent two guys for 4 hours and they finished everything within the timeframe (we even had a lowes trip in there to get a few extra items). I had quotes to do the install anywhere from $1600-$3000 from other places. So thrilled I found these guys on Angie's list! Will definitely use again!"
