"On Wednesday, 08/28/2024, I used the Angi app because my AC unit was not coming on and had a red light and I had suspected a compressor. Rocky HVAC came to inspect the AC unit. They told me that it had a leak and that they would fix the leak and then add freon for a total of $1,150.00, including a diagnostic fee of $75.00, which I paid same day (08/28/2024). The next day (Thursday, 08/29/2024) I called the provider and asked them to go ahead and repair the unit. They later called me and said that they had fixed it and requested payment. I paid the requested amount of 1,075.00 upon they claim of repairs, but then just a few hours later, my tenant called me that the unit was not working, and that the property was very hot. I called back Rocky HVAC on Friday, 08/30/2024 and explained to them that the unit was not working. They said that they would call me back and after waiting for several hours without getting a call back, I called again and this time they said that they will send someone back to the property. Rocky HVAC finally came the next day (Saturday, 08/31/2024) and upon looking at the unit, they told my tenant that the unit needs to be replaced. When I go to the property, my tenant relayed the information to me, so I called Rocky HVAC and asked why I was not told from the storm art that fixing a freon leak was never an option, but rather replacing the entire unit. They claimed that they had said so but it is extremely disingenuous because if they had ever mentioned that I needed a new unit, I would not have wasted time and money to fix something else. I asked them for a refund of $1,150.00, but they are instead telling me that they would rather credit me $500.00 towards a new unit."

"BELTWAY AIR COMFORT SERVICE is a terrible company. Horrible customer service. Incompetent technicians. They came to my home when my AC broke and 13 days later still no update. I called and texted repeatedly and got no response from the company. It's been two weeks in the sweltering heat we still have no AC. First they said they had to order a part, then I they found out they hadn't put the order in for the part. The dispatch was rude and claimed he didn't know who the owner was when I asked to speak to him. I found out these are the same ripoff artists that misdiagnosed my mom's HVAC resulting in her buying an entire new unit for over $10,000, and then the unit kept shutting off because the real problem was a regulator for the gas line. They're incompetent and unprofessional."

"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement.
