"The quote process went well. Carlos is very knowledgeable about the trees and processes. The quoted cost was much 50%than other Arborists (which is different than a tree trimmer). When I asked why the price was high, The response was "I am offering a premium pruning, which consist of raising canopies, interior thinning, reduce away from home, balancing trees, deadwood, mistletoe and broken limbs removed, most importantly the Selective Pruning on the higher parts of tree that is strongly recommend." Based on this response, I hired them to do the job. They did a good job of installing the tree brace and cable system. They also did a nice job of pruning the Live Oak. However, the other 2 trees were given a very minimal trimming. Asked for them to return and complete the "Premium", They came back the next day and did the job completely. The trees now look great. In summary, they are capable, quick, knowledgeable and expensive, and may under-prune unless you are very clear on your instructions."

"I have 4 full grown oak and elm trees in my front yard and 1 elm on the side near my garage entrance and the tree canopies were blocking the sun preventing grass from growing. Frank came out, reviewed my situation and offered a plan to resolve the issue. He was very informative and presented me with a quote for the recommended work which was very reasonable. He advised me when he would be able to schedule the job which was about 3 weeks out and I agreed. He and his crew showed up on the appointed day about 9:00 a.m. and spent most of the day at my home until the job was completed. Four of the trees had lower limbs removed to allow sunlight to reach the ground. The one tree that was closest to the house and blocking the afternoon sun on the largest portion of bare ground was removed, and the surface roots were ground down to about 2" below the surface. They cleaned up the yard and hauled off all the wood and limbs when they were done. Overall a great job, I am very pleased with the work Frank and his crew did, and I will use him again on future projects."

"Fantastic! Jason and one helper completed the task in less than 2 hours. I can't describe how adept he was at maneuvering his saw in and around the power lines. Not once did a limb fall on the power lines. I cannot say enough kind things about Jason Patterson. From here out I will always use Jason when I need any tree trimming done. One negative, and this is NOT about Jason. Angie's list does not tell you there is an additional charge for hauling off the brush. Jason charges $100 min. to remove the brush. This is a very reasonable price. I just was surprised Angie's list did not disclose it. Still, it was a perfect experience. Great work by a great gentleman at a great price!!"
