"I contracted to have part of my driveway replaced, install a new RV pad, and a pad poured for a shed that would be installed in my backyard. This was the lowest bid I received of the three. Things that I should have had included in the written contract: 1. There would be communication between the company and the homeowner via email and text (I sent emails and texts with no response). Responses to emails will be received within 48 hours. 2. Work would be SCHEDULED, workers would not just show up to work on random days. (Initial work was scheduled for June 2&3, cement was poured on 6/4) 3. Plastic would be put on house to reduce overspray, and any overspray of concrete will be removed by company. 4. Drains will be BURIED after trenching with no portion of the horizontal drain being visible. 5. Workers will not "hop the fence" and open gates to work in the backyard without homeowners knowledge, without being scheduled (they trespassed in my backyard and did work not requested, then nailed my gate closed) 6. Do the work ON the contract, no add work (The company put down weed block and rocks around the shed and over the unburied drain in order to not bury the drain pipe,. I DID NOT request rock around the shed. I only wanted weed block and rock on either side of the RV pad). 7. The 8X10 pad for the shed was level, but was to square. When the shed was installed this resulted in a gap in the shed bottom to the cement, allowing for rodents and bugs entry to under the shed. 8. NO work will take place unless scheduled with homeowner (I emailed with out of town dates and a list of things to be completed, requesting a scheduled time. Workers came while I was gone and did work not specified in the contract and nailed my gate shut). 9. As per our discussion during the estimate, the gate will be adjusted to the height of the cement, knowing that there are small dogs in the house, so bottom needs to be close to the cement. Israel said "he'd take care of me".... They cut the bottom of the pickets of the gate at an angle with about 8" of space between concrete and gate at the center. Israel said it was because my property was not level. Wendy said they could replace the pickets, Israel said I would need to pay the company to fix/rebuild the gate. Eventually he agreed to a $500.00 credit for me to repair the gate (Tholl fence quote sent to Israel was $3800.00 to rebuild the gate). 10. Do a complete clean up of materials. (Refused to remove the overspray of the cement from the house. Did not finish the cleanup of the job). 11. Only do the work specified in the contract. (Removed the pebbled 2' of concrete on the side of the portion of the concrete they were contracted to remove in my driveway. This was decorative and balanced the driveway)."

Legends Landscaping has been creating spectacular outdoor spaces for residential and commercial customers throughout the Reno-Sparks for a quarter century. Our start-to-finish capabilities mean we can design the space of your dreams and install it. From rock walls and outdoor kitchens to unique plants and irrigation systems—with our landscaping services in Reno we have the expertise to complete your project, no matter where your imagination takes it.
"From start to finish the team at Legends met the mark on everything from the initial visit to the beautiful rendering to working with my HOA everything was professional and considerate. We removed our front lawn and were very happy with the xeriscape design we're glad we went that direction. Once the work started the team that worked for over a week to tear down old shrubs, plant the many trees and bushes to the installation of the side walk pavers did a great job and were respectful of our property as well as our neighbors ensuring they left a great impression of us all. I highly recommend Legends Landscaping if you want reliability and quality. Thank you to all of those at Legends Landscaping. Bill & Denise Curry"

LandArt is a Landscape Design Build Company that specializes in the architectural design and managerial oversight of residential landscape and outdoor living areas. We are one of the few companies in the Reno area that are licensed as Landscape Architects and Contractors from the state of Nevada. LandArt really focuses on the needs of the customer and includes them in every step of way.
"We are unhappy with our experience working with LandArt. We worked with Daniel Rockwell of LandArt DBA FireSky on a multi-phased project in 2020. We completed the first phase of the project, which included fence replacement, gas line installation, and patio extension. We chose not to complete additional phases following repeated miscommunication, poor project management, inability to receive multiple quotes for subcontracted work, and dissatisfaction with the final work product. We’ve chosen to write this review following the receipt of an email from Mr. Rockwell that threatened legal action for nonpayment 30 days after final payment was remitted and cleared the bank. We do not recommend working with them."

"Im going to give them 1 stars because their work got done sort of except our cracked curbing along our entire backyard. The 4 stars they lose was for communication and the owner being a dirt bag. After 28 weeks of not hearing from them and paying 6k up front for a 21k dollar job and having to call every 3 weeks for updates there was honestly times my wife and I didn't think this job would be completed at all. We were ready to just fight it in small claims court and hope for the best. We submitted a complaint to the contractors board against them (us and apparently hundreds of others). We really felt a call every two weeks wasn't alot to ask for when you give someone 6 thousand dollars down and the job is 28 weeks behind schedule All I can say is if you did give them money you need to be patient. Like really really really patient. And don't expect updates unless you ask for them but they will be there eventually. This was really a nightmare for us. Our dog was boarded for literally months. Our kids couldn't go outside for half the summer and most of the fall. I mean it was horrible. The work got done. But at the same time we would never ever ever use these guys again. ANOTHER UPDATE: 2 weeks after job was completed our curbing is starting to crack along the back half of our fence line about 20 feet of it. MAJOR CRACKS. They came out to "fix it" and they got concrete all over our brand new artificial lawn and stamped cement slab and I cant get it off. Im in shock honestly. And the curbing they "Fixed" is already cracking again. Probably what happens when you pour concrete in the winter. Doubt this will ever get fixed. Just stay away from these guys."
