"I interviewed several contractors for my main bathroom remodel and chose VKB for their professionalism, design, and overall approach to the process. "When deciding to rehab our newly purchased assisted living facility, we had many choices of contractors. When we met with Precision Remodeling, we knew this was the company for us. Dave promised that we would be informed of each step of the large rehab via email or text and I was so impressed that he kept his word. His contractors were polite, timely, and made a challenging remodel possible adhering to all of my strict requirements due to COVID including isolating the work area, entering from various locations and working around my staff and residents on a daily basis. The remodel is amazing! Precision Remodeling completed an almost full remodel for our assisted living home. They completed the following projects including new siding, new windows, new sky lights, rehabbing a deck, building a room inside of the house, converting a garage to a heated recreation space, building a beauty salon, elevating a sunken living room to all one level, installing new flooring in the kitchen and carpet on the stairs and 3 bedrooms, and a huge amount of painting. While Precision Remodeling may be a bit more pricey than other contractures, the increased price is worth the outstanding service. Not only the quality of work was exceptional, the quality of Precision's employees was outstanding. You cannot put a price on contractures showing up on time, acting professionally and kindly to my staff and residents, helping out with little extra's just because they are "good guys", cleaning up each day when they are finished, sending updated pictures when the job is complete, and most of all doing quality work. The owner, Dave, was also amazing to work with. We started our business buying this assisted living in Feb 2020 and Dave knew our massive undertaking of buying and running the business in addition to rehabbing the home. Dave was alway responsive and helped us with all aspects of the remodel. He took our calls, met with us and handled any issue we had within 24-48 hours of being informed. You can tell he runs a tight ship, hires the right people, and they respect him and work hard for him. Thanks Dave for all the hard work!"

"We have a slow leak in the front bedroom that causes the plaster to p***** and powder but not turn to paste.  We hired Champion to stop the leak.  They said we needed a new roof, our slate was worn out [after 80 years].  We got the new roof. However, the roof continued to leak IN THE SAME SPOT as it had been doing for decades!  Champion came back out the same week we called.  The worker stayed up on the roof for about an hour with a caulking gun.  Like the original crew, he was very prompt and professional.  And like with the original crew the puckering and powdering returned with the first rain that followed. They are scheduled to return this month to check the problem again. 
I am very dissatisfied.  We really thought if we "bit the bullet" this time and shelled out bucks for a full blown licensed roofer AND replaced the WHOLE roof this time, the problem would finally be fixed.  We were wrong.  Worse yet, there does not seem to be any brainstorming, strategizing  or meeting of the minds by Champion to determine WHY the same spot continues to show evidence of the leak, something I had hoped for from a large company that we finally hired to replace the whole roof. 
I am dissatisfied.  I am disappointed.  I have been hiring all levels of contractors off and on for over 25 years to fix this same leak.  Champion is not alone.  None have succeeded.

'Turns out brainstorming is exactly what was needed.  Thankfully I found my own source!  I learned that after becoming wet, plaster can become "diseased" and continue to flake and powder, even after the best scraping and spackling job. The answer is to apply "Kilz" first THEN spackle!  Result?  No more puckering and powdering!
'Glad I didn't have to wait for them to figure it out.  They were completely baffled. The wall is dry now when it rains!  I will get a different company for future projects."

"I’m an individual who is familiar with real estate and home projects, having done many myself, and this is a true story and honest review for which I did not receive ANY incentive or compensation to write. I was selling a home in Oella, and during its structural inspection a few of the old, 1926 wooden floor joists were found to need replacement. I had interviewed a few different builders and decided to employ Persky Custom Builders.  The owner, Josh, returned my call very soon after I had made it, and our appointment to see the issue was made for the following day (Checked box - Prompt and responsive.)  Josh discussed how he would be able to not only support the structure, but actually replace some pieces  - something which the other builders felt was too difficult to do (Checked box - Knowledgeable with expert skills). There was no sales pressure; Josh was forthright and personable (Checked box - Someone I felt comfortable with).  Josh provided me the quote for the work within a couple of days, and the cost was reasonable.  It was a slight bit higher than the other quotes, but then again, he was offering me a more complex technical solution which I wanted  (Checked box - The price was right).  The work was started within a few days and completed within a week (Checked box – Efficient; stayed with project and finishes it). I was very pleased with the results;  what I thought was going to be impossible, was made possible (Checked box – Great work quality). The work site was left tidy and clean, and Josh came to meet with me to examine the final results, be sure everything was addressed, and I that was pleased (Checked box – Customer service was beyond my expectations).    I have to give Persky Custom Builders an A+.  They checked ALL my boxes for what I needed and wanted for this renovation project. I was tickled pink when the work was completed in a reasonable time frame and with attention to quality. It's not easy finding a contractor who is prompt and reliable and meets high work standards.  Thank you so much, Josh, for taking such stress off my shoulders. I would hire you again in a heartbeat! "

"I rated AHC a C and a fairer rating would have been somewhere between a B- and a C+. I got a number of estimates for a roof replacement, and their proposal was in the middle. The salespeople were professional and reliable. The work was done in one day and on the date promised, and I was pleased until we experienced our first hard rain one evening and a leak appeared in a sunroom. I called immediately, got a voicemail message and did not hear back from anyone until midday the next day. The leak was finally fixed after two subsequent repair efforts and a good bit of water damage to the ceiling of the sunroom. A month later, and after many emails and myI withholding part of my final payment for the roof, AHC brought in some folks to sand and stain the roof. I fault them for some shoddy workmanship resulting in the leak and then being slow to fix the problem and repair the damage."
