"I am so pleased with my home improvements done by JP Construction! They replaced crumbling siding with Hardie plank and painted the exterior. They power washed our limestone and it looks like new. They basically rebuilt our exterior fireplace as much of the interior wood was rotted. They relocated our master bath window, installed a new one, and replaced our patio door with one we'd bought, all in conjunction with the siding and painting work! It was almost seamless. I got bids from 4 companies and JP was very competitive. He came out and discussed the work, educating us in the process. The project manager Mike scheduled our work and was quick to respond to my calls or emails. I cannot say enough good things about the hard- working crew led by Carlos! The crew of 4 or 5 worked quickly and did an excellent, thorough and quality job. They came back every day until it was done. I love how it all turned out. I would absolutely use them again! "We used Titan Siding and Windows to replace 9 windows, sliding glass doors, and all of the siding on the back of our house. If I'd known what an impact new windows would make, I would have done this much sooner. I feel like I moved into a newer, nicer home- it's significantly quieter, warmer, and cleaner. What a difference! I got several bids from the top 3 companies on Yelp in Austin and Titan was hands down the most responsive and gave us the best rate. Joel came out immediately gave us great advice on which windows and siding styles were the best option for us and helped us choose colors. Steve the window contact and Steve the siding contact always, always, always showed up when they said they would and I felt completely comfortable having them in the house with their crews. The guys worked so hard and knocked out both our windows and siding in record time. They were also really considerate about small details like making sure the gate was closed when they left each day so that our dog couldn't get out and cleaning up debris and dirt as the job progressed. "Jeff was great. We had two other roofing companies make repairs on a leak, and it was not fixed by them. When Jeff came out, he was able to spot a possible problem area right away. The person who did the actual repairs was very thorough. He did find an issue and corrected that problem, did an overall check of the rest of the roof, and corrected some other areas. We were pleased with the company overall."

"Mike was the 2nd Contractor I contacted via Angie's List (of 3 total I requested estimates from). His ideas for how he saw the new wall was something I immediately agreed with. As an aside, the 3rd contractor had similar ideas Mike had shared. The first contractor seemed very uninterested in the potential work. Mike's estimate was the most competitive of the 3 (should be 2, since Contractor #1 never replied back). Overall, before accepting his offer, I viewed Mike as highly competent and responsible and looked forward to the upcoming work.
Mike had a 3rd helper Jeff (a competitor and friend in the same field) who did the framing and drywall. Mike has pre-informed me that Jeff would be helping on this job. Jeff was also very responsible and knowledgeable. I had no issue with Mike's recommendation to have Jeff help on this. Jeff's work on the framing took 2 days and went smoothly.
On Day 3, Mike took over and started the tape/float + texturing. This took the most time, which is expected and the overall look was flawless with the other wall texturing. During the door installation, a few tweaks needed to be made, but all of those are not an unexpected concern and the final installation looks good, doors balanced with no overlap (i.e. they open and close freely).
Mike estimated 4-5 days to complete the work (in parallel with other jobs he was doing), which at the end of day 5, he was 99% complete. He had to come back for 1 additional day (about 30min total) to do some last minute fixes/adds per my request. I do not view this as an issue, more so that Mike was willing to take the additional time to accommodate the customer.
Communication was good during the job. Mike and Jeff were open to any suggestions, answered questions and bantered. I was able to work from home the week to supervise the work being done. I learned a few tricks from watching them.
On a side note, I agreed to do all the painting and caulking as I have done that before, and sadly, enjoy it :) It also helped save in the overall cost to me in the long run. The final cost did not change from the estimate. Mike did give me a discount for going through Angie's List.
Overall, this was my first Angie's list experience and it went very well to excellent. I have no issues with the final work done and would recommend Mike (and already have) to anyone interested in his services."
