"The quality of the carpet and the installation were very good.  But the crew was careless in moving furniture, scratching two pieces and putting some dings in the walls.  According to the terms of the contract, C & R is not responsible for such damage, so we're stuck with the results.  Other providers do take responsibility for damage, so you need to decide whether the money saved by getting C & R's low price is worth the risk.  Also be aware that the "free" financing isn't free. There's a 4.99% up-front charge, supposedly for handling or some such thing."

"Fantastic service from beginning to end. They have a large selection of flooring to choose from. They came out, measured and went over the options with us. We choose Eucalyptus flooring for the main floor with some vinyl planks in the kitchen. Items came quickly and then they had a crew ready in 2 weeks. The crew was excellent. It took a day to do the hardwood, and half a day for the vinyl. They were profession and the work looked perfect when done. The crew was quick and always made sure what they were doing was want we wanted if there were any questions. The staff from National Carpet always made sure we knew what was going on and what was next. The price for service and flooring was the best out of 4 places we checked. They were not high pressure lets sign today either like other places and they were willing to work with you to get what you wanted. Whenever we get more flooring work done, this is the place I am going too."

"UPDATE - this is an update to my previous review. The service provider returned to complete the vinyl flooring and painted over the scuffs/marks on the walls. I rated them poorly on punctuality since I was told they would arrive after 1 pm (which to me meant a reasonable period of perhaps 1-2 hours after 1pm). However, by the time the installers arrived at my house it was nearly 6pm."

"It went exceptionally well. Professional team and very helpful in choosing right floor and stain. They also removed the toilet and sink closet when I wasn’t able to find a plumber to do it. "It all started out well. Arrived on time to measure and give estimate. But the carpet was a special order and we were promised delivery by Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving came and went. Christmas came and went. Still no carpet. I know special orders can be tricky and delays may not be the fault of the store. But I feel that this store did not always respond to my calls in a timely manner. I had to call them numerous times when they were supposed to call me. They were always nice, I just don't feel that they did all they could to make this a more positive experience. The installation was excellent. No complaints at all there. And the carpet quality is excellent as well. But for the money Ispent, I just thought they could have done a little better. <br />"
