"I was contacted almost immediately after putting in request for service on my washer. The repairman contacted me to let me know when he was on the way in the allotted time provided. He thoroughly inspected my washer and showed me the problems. Unfortunately it was more expensive to fix than to replace, which I’m thankful for that information. Flat fee for service and travel extremely low price and was extremely pleasant to speak with. Service was done in a professional manner was precise and thorough but prompt service. Highly recommend this company. I definitely will be calling them again for servicing other appliances in future! Five stars!"

"On 5/29/25 Tristin came to my house and gave me a quote on a new shower remodel with a new toilet, and we signed the contract. I thought $12,000 plus was exorbitant, but Tristin assured me that Long Home uses quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, and excellent service. He told me that they will replace all the pipes, and the shower and toilet will have lifetime warranties. So, I agreed and gave him half down and it was scheduled for the 6/27/25 and 6/28/25. Tristian called me on the 6/5/25 and told me that for the shower I choose the half wall that was part of my existing shower would have to be removed, he said otherwise I would have to pay an additional $1,500+, because the shower I agreed to couldn’t be installed otherwise. I told Tristin on 5/29/25 that I did not want the wall removed, but after talking to Tristin on the 5th I relented and said the wall could be removed and ordered another toilet for my other bathroom. The day of the installation came, and one guy came on time and the actual plumber came about 2 hours late around noon. They started working on the demolition and Tristin came around 4pm to move the power socket that was in the wall they removed. He put a rough patch on the wall and installed the outlet without the cover. They removed my cabinet from the wall so they could take down the wall but never replaced it. They worked until 10 pm on Friday. Tristin was supposed to come out on Saturday to finish the patch and put the cover on the outlet. Saturday 6/28/25 the helper arrived at 830 am and the plumber arrived at 1030, at 450 pm the plumber showed me the shower rod they sent with my shower, and it was too short. He told me to call Tristin, I did, and he said OK Tristin never showed up and the two guys finished at 945 pm without putting the cabinet back up. I checked the toilet in the bathroom where the shower was installed, and it kept running after I flushed it, and I put a toilet cleaning tab in the other one and noticed the toilet lid does not fit right. I texted Tristin on Sunday morning telling him about both toilets and he texted me back on that Monday and said he could come at 4pm. I work nights and did not get up until around 5pm and I texted him and told him that I do not usually get up until 6pm during the week when I work and he never messaged me back. I sent Tristin another text on Saturday 7/5/25 telling him to ask him when he could come out and fix the problems I have. I have not heard back as of yet. Long Home charges a premium price and Tristin told me that I would get premium service, he said this is why they charge so much, but the experience I’ve had is anything but premium, I paid $12,000 and I only have one toilet that works correctly even though the lid doesn’t fit properly, I had to buy a shower rod so I could use my shower, since the one I bought from them didn’t fit, which makes no sense because they knew the dimensions of the shower. I had to have a wall removed that I did not really want removed, because they made a mistake when I signed the contract. I have the outlet in my bathroom wired without a cover, my wall is not finished, and my cabinet is still sitting in my bedroom. I do not mind spending the money for something, but I want the product and the service to be worth the price, I paid for professionals, but this is not the problems you are supposed to have with professionals."

"They did a really amazing job. It seamed after only a few minutes talk that they exactly knew what we wanted. So it was easy to built trust right away. They never tried to talk us in to something. They did the whole job while we where back in Germany and provided us with pictures from the work they did all the time and always responded to any questions almost right away. "4 Years later, we are finally done with our “12 to 14 week project” that started with S&W Kitchens. This is after they abandoned our project, we had to get an attorney involved, and hire a different contractor to complete the project. Before the design was finalized, we reduced the scope of the project to pull out some major items. S&W revised their price for the project based on the changes we made. Despite the scope being significantly reduced, they came back with a price well above the initial numbers that had a greater scope. The information communicated from the office to their field was mostly inaccurate and caused issues. Due to the lack of organization, poor communication, inaccurate documents, we lost count of how many times things needed to be reworked. You would think a company being in business for 40+ years and having multiple locations throughout central Florida; organization, management, and communication would be their strong suit. We had 3 different superintendents over the life of the project. We had to constantly keep stepping in to get things corrected multiple times and keep things moving along. It would still be going on had we not done that. We needed to get the head of the field out of Orlando involved. Our thoughts were this would get things back on track. Reflecting on everything now, it accomplished nothing, dug the hole deeper, and wasted more time. We tried to get both owners, out of Palm Harbor and Orlando, involved to address the issues. That also yielded no positive results. The root of all the issues that were experienced trace straight back to ownership. This was a top-down issue where their decisions to have the personal in the roles they were in did not allow for things to work. When the owner describes in their online professional profile, playing multiple rounds of golf each week and walking their dog everywhere, you start to question if their priorities are focused on their business. Having company “retreats” in Utah where no one could be reached for a week when issues were occurring on the project was another upper-level decision we were surprised to see. Everyone we worked with appeared to have good intentions. They were just tasked with responsibilities that were outside of their own skill sets or limited by what management/ownership would allow them to do. As an example, having the designer get involved with coordinating, scheduling, or ordering of materials did not yield a good result. Stick to design, where their strengths are and nothing more would have helped. We wish we had known what we were in for prior. Had someone shared this type of experience, we would have sought out a different company. Our project was wrapped up in July 2024 by a different contractor who did an awesome job. This was 4 years after we started vs. the 12-14 weeks in the contract. During the first 15 months of our project, I witnessed a 25-story mid-rise go up from caissons set to occupancy and a high-end custom home go from foundation to the homeowners moving in. If you are considering having S&W Kitchens do your project, hopefully, our experience shares more insight into what can occur."
