After calling several roofing contractors and getting estimates I was impressed with the quality of materials that Mellow Contracting uses. My project was very small it was only approximately 200 ft.² for replacement of a storage shed roof. Sean and his team came out exactly when they said they would be there and in no time at all three of them were able to completely replace the roof. They used architectural shingles with the new synthetic type of underlayment system by gaf as well as all new flashing all the way around. They even caulked any exposed nails exactly as he said in his proposal. Seanâ s team is very nice and efficient and they installed the roofing system exactly how they would on a large house. For example, Mr. Keith spent a considerable amount of time taking "before" and "after" photos of the roof. He then used these photos to discuss and patiently explain his estimate, the scope of work required, the materials recommended, and finally, the end result. I could not have been more pleased with the entire process! In accordance with the contract, Keith and Company prepped all areas where indicated on both my front porch and the main flat roof. The workmen then installed new modified Bitumen rubber across the entire flashing of the front porch where it joins the front wall of my home. "Rich was amazing. This job was very difficult. Because of the configuration of my house, there was only one spot in the closet where the tube would go thru. Another contractor told me that the job was impossible, because of obstables both between closet floor and dining room ceiling and closet ceiling and roof. Rich managed to install the Solatube and avoid all the obstacles. It was really amazing what he was able to do. I am not easily impressed with contractors, but Rich was great.
