"I called Brent out to locate and troubleshoot a sprinkler system that probably hadn't been used in 20 years. It was like the irrigation whisperer how he located the old heads and water line. He brought the old system back from the dead and it's working beautifully now. Cost was very reasonable considering the skill and work needed."

"I called Oscar to install a whole house surge protector I had purchased online. He was able to install the device the next day. I had all the parts. Oscar had to cut a hole in the drywall and drill a hole thru the stud and into the panel ( not an easy job). Part of the problem was a full breaker panel, Oscar had to move 2 breakers to a sub-panel to make room for the new 50 amp breaker the surge protector needed. Oscar worked two hours to get the job done. He did a good job at a fair price, I would use him again. He installed my CUTLER HAMMER EATON CHSPT2 ULTRA WHOLE HOUSE BEST SURGE PROTECTOR."

"I bought a "DEAL" so I know I got a great price on the work. Jock Wilson and his team were in and out in a flash. My trees look far better than I expected and the team left the property so clean you would have never guessed we'd had the trees done. They also stayed for a bit to answer some questions that my husband had regarding our property. We already have plans to use them again."

"I was very pleased with the service I received.  Jacob West and his assistant were right on time (actually, early), worked quickly, and offered honest suggestions regarding what I needed to replace.  I do not feel that Jacob recommended anything that was unnecessary.  I definitely plan on using H20 Sprinkler Systems again in the future.

"I was amazed at their prompt courteous service. I inquired about getting a large building on my property torn down on a Sunday morning. Within 15 minutes of posting, they called me. Shortly after that I had a quote. They came out with all the proper and professional equipment and they were fast and efficient, and cleaned up and hauled off all the debri as well."

"Gosh, where do I begin? Let me start with the highlights and cut to the chase...
We could not have been HAPPIER with what Raymond did for our home. Our backyard was a disaster -- it was in fact our achilles heel if we would ever put our home on the market. It was ugly with dirt as the grass had died off, and our patio was just your basic concrete slab. Ugly, ugly. We didn't even bother ever sitting out in our backyard to relax because it was so bad...so we decided to invest in our home and do something about it.
Raymond delivered in Spades. While I will be up front and honest by telling you that Raymond's schedule seems chaotic at best sometimes, in which appts would be missed, etc. -- we were in the fairly unique situation of not being in a mad rush to get all the work done for our home. It took all told about 8 weeks for the work to be completed -- but again, we were fine with the lapses and interruptions because we understood Raymond had some personal matters to attend to and we knew he was good for the work. So if you don't mind Raymond perhaps not keeping to the perfect schedule -- then continue reading on.
I went through at least 5 other highly-rated Angie's List landscapers and Raymond was by FAR the most professional of all that we talked to and consulted regarding our landscaping. I won't mention names, but one vendor was horrible and the rest were okay at best. The reason Raymond stood out was because he truly LISTENED to our concerns and what feedback/opinion we provided he really listed to and considered. In the end, he made strong recommendations that we had not though about, but we were sold on his level of conviction and in realizing we really did consider all other creative options with him while keeping in our budget. So Raymond blew away the other landscapers in this regard, no question about it.
Probably the most incredible benefit of working with Raymond is the price for all he did. We have a show piece front yard now (especially with the lighting he installed) and we have a beautiful patio area that my wife has only dreamed about the first few years we were in our home. Raymond's quality of work and attention for detail is truly amazing. He would spend minutes to hours actually just looking at the landscaping as he installed it and making numerous tweaks as he would go on. No one would have been as patience and careful as Raymond was. I've had other contractors do work, like the Sprinkler company we used, and they pretty much treat you like a number and just want to get the job done in one day -- they rush and problems result. That's the truth.
Raymond did take a LONG TIME to complete the work, but the important thing is we knew the work would get done, and the work that was done was simply amazing. We've had folks who've contracted out their own landscaping and they thought we had perhaps paid nearly double what we ended up paying. Raymond is extremely good on price, and given his attention to detail and care for the quality of the work, his price is unbeatable -- even if the schedule gets delayed. Raymond also did a great job of always cleaning the work site at the end of every day. He did not leave any messes anywhere during his work. He is a true professional.
I would heartily recommend and urge you to contact Raymond about your landscaping work. So long as you understand the schedule may be in limbo at times -- the work when done will be of extremely high quality and one you will be extremely satisfied with. While some may think that the delays and issues with his schedule may be a show-stopper -- don't let it be -- I've been serviced by high-rated vendors here on angie's list and they can be a victim of their success in what appears to be rushing through jobs and letting their project schedule take priority over attention to detail and doing a great job.
Raymond can deliver on this. And for a price I think that is unbeatable. In fact, I spoke to him about how he really needs to get the word out about his services, and he was considering going with a new approach where he would basically just charge a design fee and then deliver on all other aspects at cost of labor and materials. That is pretty much unheard of and frankly, Raymond already provides a very competitive price. I hope others will give Raymond a try even over those landscapers on here that have a higher rating -- he pretty much is working on his own now, so he probably can only handle a set number of clients at once -- but you won't be disappointed in terms of the job he does get done over time.
We definitely plan to use Raymond again in the future. We don't plan to install a patio bar which he's good at doing, but we are considering a nice spa area at the side of our yard and we definitely want to work with Raymond. He's the best.

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Springtown, TX

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
