"I do not write reviews often but decided to do one for Johe (pronounced Joey) with Silicon Valley Appliance Service and Repair because of the exceptional quality of his work. Our six-year-old Whirlpool all electric oven was taking forever to heat up and when the display said that it achieved temperature, the oven was just warm and not hot. So, we knew something was wrong but I could not figure out what the problem was. Johe came highly recommended and we called him late in the afternoon and were able to schedule him for the next morning. He showed up right on time. Johe quickly diagnosed the oven problem and explained to us what was involved in making the repair to the oven. His pricing was both transparent and reasonable. You can tell Johe loves what he does, he has an attention to detail and follow through that is rare for appliance repair technicians. He even fixed the control nob that was loose. He is both personable and professional and have already referred him to friends and family. Last night, we used the oven for the first time since the oven repair and what a difference! The oven heated quickly and cooked the baked potatoes efficiently and perfectly. So rather than reading more reviews about which appliance repair companies to choose, pick up the phone and call Johe. "Great experience. Harmond W diagnosed the issue within the first 10 minutes of our interactive video session. He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"So hard to figure out who to go with when needing a service. I selected AZ Appliance as their ratings were 5*. And geez did they meet up to it. They made sure that they had the right parts before coming to my house, so it did not waste my time. The total duration of install was maybe an hour, because the tech identified some things that could cause future problems. This guy went above and beyond. He cleaned and handled them at no extra charge. Granted it took him an extra few minutes to perform the small task, he went above and beyond and that makes me confident in avoiding future issues. I did not price shop or call around. I went to 5* reviews and they were there sitting alone at the top. I am not worried about the price of things, just as long as they're done right. "Ray came out on the Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend. He replaced the condenser on my GE Monogram fridge, which several other companies had told me they do not work on. I was at a loss as far as what to do until Ray called and said he was in the area, so he would come look, diagnose, and give an estimate. I had to have it fixed as it had already been several days of unsuccessfully trying to find someone to repair it. He had the part in his truck and very efficiently and quickly replaced the part. He was very polite and well informed as well. He told me exactly what he was doing throughout the process, and gave tips on how to keep it running optimally. Very pleased! "C.F. Services [Creig Fitzgerald] called and asked if he could arrive earlier than our scheduled appointment, which was okay with us. Creig works well with the elderly, understands what is asked of him and is varied in his skills, (he did electrical and carpentry work for us). He is a friendly young man who is quick and professional. We are glad we found him, we'll be using C.F. Services [Creigh Fitzgerald] in the future as there are so many things that need to be done around the house that do not require contractors licenses. I would recommend you give the C.F. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
