"Spencer construction repaired the damaged brickwork on my house after a stolen car ran into the house at high speed. The damages occurred around a brick surround for a support pillar and also effected brickwork between two garage doors. Kevin paid attention to ensure that the replacement bricks matched the damaged ones. He also was able to cut appart undamaged bricks so that they could be reused and make the repair look as if the incident had never happenned. He protected the mortar from rain while it was drying. As an experienced 3rd generation mason, he did everything right. He was the best of 6 masons I interviewed. I would not hestitate to recommend him to others. If you're looking for an experienced and creative mason who is attentive to detail he's the best!"

I had a lot of pruning I needed done, including a thuja hedge that reached 20' at some points, and wanted it topped at the 15' level - no easy task. Other companies came over to bid, but were intimidated by the job. Then "Dani" came over from Primescapes... and i must admit I was skeptical she could pull this off. Boy was I wrong. Dani gave me a great estimate, much lower than others that I had received. The job was executed to perfection, all the clippings raked and hauled off, and I couldn't be more pleased. "Excellent! They explained why I could not get grass to grow well in my backyard: once they excavated, the soil contained lots of compact clay and rock, causing seeds to drown from watering. Once we locked in a date, they knocked it out relatively quickly, and gave me instructions on how to maintain the artificial grass going forward. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to the quotes I received from other contractors, and they did not charge me for leftover artificial grass, which they could have done. "Excellent job from start to finish. Mauricio responded to me the same day I called and was over in just a few hours with a quote. I called three companies but none seemed as professional and knowledgeable as Rios. He was able to start even earlier than scheduled, which was perfect. His crew was a pleasure to work with. Always enthusiastic, cheerful, very skilled, so hard-working, and willing to do whatever we asked. Even worked on weekends. The job itself was to run pavers around a large deck, remove old aggregate patio, jackhammer the solid concrete front steps, pave them and the approach to the door. His job was so well done on these areas that we asked at the end for him to rip out our driveway, widen it, and pave it. They are very particular about how their work looks, and did a few above and beyond things that I knew took more labor but they wanted it to look perfect. I have had at least four neighbors ask who did the work and I would not hesitate to recommend them."

Additionally it was unsafe for our toddler as both the patio and retaining wall had steep drop offs. We had Bluegrass Construction come out and build a 6 foot cedar fence to enclose entire backyard (with gates on each side). Additionally, they put in a railing around our patio and a low picket fence on the retaining wall. They also dug out a portion of the retaining wall and built steps into it so that we could easily and safely access our yard. Everything turned out amazing! The crew got the work done in 4 days- very hard working, professional and great with communication. The project matched the scope of work discussed. We absolutely love the way everything looks and especially appreciate the added safety it provides. 10/10 recommend!"
