"We bought carpet and laminate from Brooks Flooring. The installation was so shoddy, we are having to replace the carpet less than four years after it was installed. They came out numerous times to "fix" the problem, which consisted of stretching the carpet to try to fill in the gap between the living room and the laminate in the dining area. Of course, three hours later, the gap was back. The carpet was cut too short and the installers tried to Mickey Mouse it instead of repairing it correctly. After trying to get it fixed, they basically said it was out of warranty and pretty much "ghosted" us. One of the employees said he would come out on a Friday and look at it - we're still waiting. Guess he didn't specify which Friday."

Walter Lynn and Kathryn Watson (our grandparents) were the founders and owners of what was later called Watson’s Furniture Company. Located in the same building was the family owned Watson Insurance Company which is still serving the community today. It is presently located in the original store location.
