"We have used Alan Drake MANY times at this point -he is our go-to contractor for all our projects big & small. Our first experience of him was when he finished our basement after we had it lowered a foot (by another company). Did a great job from the first minute - was reasonable on price, had the expert on his team, Karl, draw our plans for rebuilding our basement steps & finishing basement for permit purposes,  framed & built walls, finished with trim/cabinet doors, and then had his team paint the whole thing. We then had to use him after our basement unfortunately flooded from Irene when he had to redo a good amount of the work he had done the year before. We've used his team to paint our entire house top to bottom & they did an efficient and beautiful job. Have used them to clean our gutters periodically and power wash the back of our house and patio - always at a reasonable price. And this latest time when our sewer pipe backed up and caused a flood only days before we were having an open house, he came through and squeezed us into his schedule at the last minute, seeing what an emergency it was. Alan is a friendly, extremely personable guy, and beyond fair in price and setting expectations. We highly highly recommend him. He is our hero! Tip: Alan communicates best by text because he is so very busy.

"Dave was working with my neighbor a week after Hurricane Sandy, and I asked him to do similar work in our house. This is a second home, and I was not onsite regularly. Dave and his crew did exactly what they said they would do, on time and on budget. We had 34and quot; of water in our garage and crawlspace, which required sheetrock to be ripped out and replace, with mold spray on the studs. Dave did all that and repainted the garage perfectly. The water had blown out my crawlspace door, and Dave and his guys built it just like it had been. Our ductwork in the crawlspace was insulated on the inside and that was wet, so all that had to come out and be replaced. Finally, they scrubbed my garage floor and the cinderblock lower wall.

The cost is higher than epoxy but we think it's worth every penny - the garage now looks incredible and is easy to clean as well. Nick's crew was professional and did an excellent job quickly.
