"We hired Salvador as a general contractor to renovate our kitchen and remove the living room and kitchen popcorn ceilings installed by the previous owners. Our quote only included the labor. We purchased separately the materials, appliances, cabinets, knobs, tiles, backsplash, countertop and lighting fixtures etc. From the beginning of our interaction with Salvador we liked that he was responsive, flexible with design changes and transparent about his work. Over the course of the project, Salvador presented all the receipts for any additional materials he purchased, he explained how all materials were used, he told us the plan for the next work day, he sent pictures of his daily progress, and he was easy to coordinate deliveries of appliances and cabinetry such that there were no missed appointments! On a few instances when specific aspects of the project came out different than expected, Salvador made the adjustments we wanted even if that meant that he had to re-do a day’s work.
