"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"The repair of the opening in the basement wall was done with an epoxy sealer with a 10 year warranty. They fixed it perfectly, we monitored it during heavy rain storms and no leakage detected. They cleaned up the work area and didn't leave a mess like some do. They were professional. For the sidewalk, they gave us advice on how to repair it and recommended a contractor to do the work. The contractor did it exactly as recommended and fixed it to their specs."

"Pipe boot replacement was attempted but the shingles were too brittle.  The repair crew informed us of the issue with the shingles and recommended a caluk around the existing pipe boot.  We took his recommendation and was glad that he talked with us prior to completing any work. <br />"

"We have had an intermittent leaking shower faucet for @ 2 years that started after we had some tile work done. We had two plumbing companies come out and assess the problem. One was from Majestic plumbing and without even looking at anything related to the shower, he recommended cutting the tile, getting a new faucetry system, and replacing parts to the tune of @ $985.00 (not including cost of faucetry). We sought a 3rd opinion. Today we had Tom with Allgood plumbing, Electric, Heating and Cooling come to assess the problem. Tom asked to look at the valve parts of the shower and discovered an old torn gasket left in place. Also the new valve part that my husband had replaced had a built in gasket system. So , there was no way to have an adequate seal. We are so pleased to have this problem resolved and really appreciate Tom for taking the time and actually looking at the system. THANK YOU TOM!!!"
