"Without a doubt, I will call this company for any future needs. Last year, I had regular maintenance done on my furnace and they scared the crap out of me when they told me I needed a bunch of work done and repairs on my gas furnace. I held off and crossed my fingers all last winter and decided this year was finally time to face it... so began the phone calls.. then I got a return call from Parrish services. Alan, the owner, came to my house at 7 p.m. on a Friday to do a check on my gas furnace. This was after one company told me it would be a $6800 replacement job, and another told me $69 bucks just for them to come look at it and even then they would only tell me they'd call me Monday morning to confirm and then call me at some point Monday to let me know then they were within 30 minutes of being here, but couldn't give me any idea of what time that would be. Ugh. Add to the mix that I'm a single mom and I used to just pick up the phone and call my dad for advice on EVERYTHING.... he passed away a little over a year ago and this was the first major home issue that I had where I couldn't get my dad's advice... let the meltdowns begin... Alan came and put all my fears to rest. He was completely honest and said he didn't think I really needed to do anything right now. My furnace was clean as a whistle, was running fine, and he didn't see any reason to replace or repair anything. I had the filter in backwards, but ooopppsss... lol.. luckily I had another one, so that was a quick swap all was right in the world again. As a woman, it can feel like I have a great big red bullseye on my forehead when I start talking about home repairs to some of these contracting companies.... Parrish made me feel completely comfortable, explained everything, and treated me with the utmost respect. They're one of the few good guys out there that really just want to do right by their customers and aren't out to nickel and dime anyone or use scare tactics just to get a commission. "Excellent - within 15 minutes of initial call at 8:30 on Sunday morning, I had an estimate. By 1:00pm the work was done and everything was back to normal. Clean and professional. They placed drop cloths and took great care of our home. They cleaned up completely after the job was done. The price was a bit higher than I was expecting, but I was willing to pay a bit more to have the work done promptly on Sunday, rather than waiting until sometime Monday for another contractor. The Job was a replacement of a 75 gallon Natural Gas Water Heater, including removal and disposal of the old unit."

"Couldn't have gone better. I called the emergency line about 5:30 a.m. They returned the call within 15 minutes, and had me check a few simple things first over the phone to ensure it wasn't something I could easily fix. It wasn't. Someone was here by early afternoon; turned out to be a bad wire about 100 ft into a 350 ft well. They explained the options - repair the wire or pull the old pump and replace everything. We opted for just the wire repair."

"The pipe connected to the shower head in the master bath corroded which created a leak, and then broke off. As a result, we contacted 24/7 plumbing to see what would be needed to fix the issue. Their plumber came out to the house and stated that the pipe looked like it was galvanized, and if so could not be fixed. He then stated in order to find our for sure he needed to go through the wall directly behind the shower and also go through the wall on the side of the shower to make sure he could see the pipe. We then asked him who would be able to repair the wall and he stated that their plumbers are advised "to destroy what is necessary to fix the problem" and that they would not fix the walls after going through the dry wall. We then asked the plumber, but what if it's galvanized as you stated before? He sated that they would not be able to fix it again. We decided not to let him knock down 2 walls to access the pipe knowing that if it was galvanized he could not fix it. We would then be left with damaged walls to fix and still no use of the shower. We got a second opinion from Putnam Plumbing and they came out the next day. The plumber Patrick reached into the wall where the pipe was corroded with long pliers, took out the old thread that broke off and then reconnected the pipe which is galvanized to the shower head fixing the shower. He then advised us about the acidity of the water which would have caused the corrosion and options for how to take care of it in the future. The whole visit took 15 minutes. Lesson learned. Never using 24/7 ever again and always turning to Putman for any plumbing related issues."
