"We didn't get to actually have anything done with Dom's. However, we originally asked for them to come do an estimate for some interior work. The owner ran into something preventing them from coming. They called well ahead and let us know. We really appreciated the heads up. The New Time line wasn't going to work so we parted ways.. we were impressed with the courtesy they gave us."

"Went very well, I would certainly hire them again. Did A Great Job, Although a little higher priced than some of the other contractors in the area. They really pay attention to detail and use products that last. One thing is worth mentioning and that is a lot of other contractors might be less in price but price in the industry truly defines quality."

"Overall it went well. They were the only company that didn't try to re do my whole house. They listened to what I wanted done, quoted me a legitimate price based on that work and then executed it nicely. Once materials showed up to my house work began shortly after. They made pretty fast progress removing the old siding. I had cleaned all the siding that I removed and to save money on material they were able to reinstall those pieces on the sides of the house. This was tough since the top half was already done. Then they did all new siding for the front and back, to include the soffits and vents. The guy who does the window and door trim was obviously very experienced. He made quick work of custom cutting every piece right there at the house and installed it quickly. My only complaint is that they told me if there were any left over material I could return it to Minot Lumber (where it was ordered from) and get a refund. What actually happened was I brought it back and they credited BSquare Construction who in turn never gave me any money back. I called a few times and was never able to get anything. It was only a little bit of stuff returned so I just let it go after a while. Overall pretty good experience. I would hire this company to do more work on my house.

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Sterling, ND

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
