"Communication was key on this project and Mark was absolutely on the ball. Day or night he took my calls and helped with any issues I had and walked me through the whole financing process of the project and helped me save money along the way. When I had an issue after the project was completed, they had someone back the next day to make it right. I'd absolutely recommend their services if you need foundation work or waterproofing"

"The estimate to waterproof our leak in the basement was very close to actual cost. Work performed has been the best solution any other company has done previously in other sections of our basement."

"After years of having a flooded basement we contacted Atlantic Coast Waterproofing. Gary, the owner, came to our home and explained the process he would use to guarantee (life time and transferrable) a dry basement. His explanation was very detailed and he answered all of our questions. The job was started promptly when scheduled and completed in the projected time frame. Plastic was draped over the basement contents to protect from dust, so the mess was minimal. All of the work was handled by the crew, Gary, Cody, Casey, Phil, and the very talented cement finisher, Richard. They cleaned the work site every day so that they were starting fresh the next day. The entire crew of Atlantic Coast Waterproofing possess a very strong work ethic. They are courteous, dependable, and considerate of their client's property. The saying "you get what you pay for", is very true in this case. The job exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Gary and his company for your waterproofing needs."

"Absolutely thrilled with the work Watertight Solutions did on our basement crack repair! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. "Roger and his crew were very polite and efficient. Roger knows his work well and did a nice job of explaining concerns and options. They worked from 9am until 3;30 pm with no break. The work was done well and the area is spotless. Both the salesman and Roger and his crew are very competent and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of help with waterproofing and foundation work. I wish I had known of them when I had the waterproofing done earlier."

"Thank you and your crew for the great exterior basement wall waterproofing. Your crew was thorough, courteous, and went out of their way to please. When finished, they made sure everything was cleaned up. Both me and my neighbor, whose side walkway and driveway were used to make access easier, couldn't tell that you were even there, except for the 20+ ft of a foot of topsoil over the pea gravel. They also added topsoil along the front of house to make sure drainage was pitched away from the house. You are definitely on my contractor approved list, and I will definitely recommend you."

"We had a french drain and a sump pump put in. The basement was never quite dry after they put the French drain. We called to complain and they sent out the repair man. I said yes the basement was damp before but only when it rained, and now that was damp all the time. I tried to explain to him that the basement was only wet when we a had major rain fall out side. He said that we could purchase a $2100 dehumidifier. When we complained about that. He told us his boss said that we could purchase it for a have it for $1800 and there was a service fee I think around $150. We said we where not going to pay a service fee. In the spring when it raining a lot we started getting water coming through the floor. They came out again and told us to add feeder lines or paint the floor with this special water proof paint. So we painted it. Once again after one of the heavy rains water came up threw the floor. Maybe more work needs to be done they should had said that before they did the job. We trusted the quote they gave us. We trusted what they told us, about what needed to be done to water proof the basement. They where not the least cheapest quote we had or the most expensive."

"ErieHome waterproofed my basement. The crew was polite, kind, and came in, did an excellent job in 3 days by digging a trench on the inside of the basement, removing the dirt from the bottom of the foundation, installed corrugated tubing, rock and then cement. They also installed a Humidex airpurifier and new sump pump with a backup pump. They cleaned up afterward. Any questions I had were answered in a respectful manor. I now have peace of mind knowing that I no longer have to monitor weather forecasts for rain or have to clean up anymore incoming water. The system is warranted for the life of the house and included within the price, which increased the value of my home."

"They did an excellent Job. They stuck to their timeline, which was important to me, they didn't slack or dawdle, they did a thorough job and made sure I was part of the project as well. One of the best qualities of the job and the company was I was able to speak to the owner in person and over the phone throughout the job. They were courteous and polite and inconvenienced our home lives as little as possible given the circumstances of the waterproofing/drainage line installation. They did add-on and provisional work as needed/requested, during the job, which was great. I didn't feel like I was a spectator in the whole process, I felt like I was involved in it. I also never felt like I was bullied into anything, some companies come in and try to push you into doing things you either don't want done or you don't agree with. The owner of the company was sure to make that not the case, he talked with me, explained things, listened to my input, added his own considerable knowledge and expertise but also listened to my ideas. Great company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a basement waterproofing company NOT looking to rob you, oversell you, or ignore you. They did a great job, fixed the problem. They were expedient, professional, and affordable. Russ was an honest business owner, in every sense of the word, which you don't find too often these days. FAQs for foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation projects in Sterling Heights, MI

The most affordable way to waterproof your basement is with interior methods like waterproof paint, costing between $1 and $8 per square foot, or silicate concrete sealers priced at $4 to $6 per square foot. However, these solutions are only suitable for certain issues. If your basement moisture is due to more serious problems like a cracked foundation, you'll need more extensive (and costly) repairs.

Absolutely! Waterproofing your basement is a smart investment that can increase your home's value. By keeping your basement dry and free of moisture problems, you protect your home's structural integrity and make it more appealing to potential buyers. Plus, taking proactive measures now can prevent costly water damage repairs down the line.

The time required to waterproof a basement depends on the selected method. Some approaches to interior waterproofing, like paint or sealant, can be completed within a day. Installing new drains or weeping tiles will need at least two to three days of labor. Any forms of exterior waterproofing that require you to excavate land will require an additional three days of work to prepare the ground.

Yes, basement waterproofing can significantly increase your home's value. A dry, leak-free basement is a strong selling point for potential buyers, enhancing your property's desirability and market price. Investing in professional waterproofing not only protects your home's structural integrity but also ensures a healthier living environment by preventing mold and mildew growth.

Waterproofing both the interior and exterior of your basement offers the best protection against moisture. Exterior waterproofing stops water from penetrating your foundation, while interior methods manage any moisture that does enter. If you must choose one, exterior waterproofing is generally more effective, as it prevents water from reaching your home's interior in the first place.
