"Project: Annual cleaning and inspection of two direct vent gas log fireplaces. The people that came were very friendly and did an excellent job of inspecting the duct and vents of the gas fireplaces. One was a direct vent with easy access from the deck, the other the tech had to climb onto the roof. The tech noted a flashing that needed some caulking which he was able to do at an additional fee as this was not part of the original inspection/cleaning task. He did provide a discount as he was already on the roof. Although they cleaned and inspected the vents, they did not perform the items listed in the Heat and Glo annual cleaning and inspection checklist for the fireplace units themselves. I have to get a company in who actually does maintenance and sustainment work on direct vent gas fireplaces. After repeated tries, the tech was not able to actually start the one fireplace he attempted to start and it was obvious he did not know the procedure. I paid and they departed. I would not ask them to come back for a gas fireplace job, however, they were professional and nice, so I would consider them for a project better suited to their knowledge and experience. Rather than scan my credit card, the tech took an actual photo of it with his cell phone. I called the company and they said they would be sure the photo was deleted. I have not gotten a return call confirmation."

"The work was done in an outstanding manner--everything was cleaned thoroughly and everything put back in place when the work was complete. The roof and gutters were also done and minor repairs done to the gutters and covers to ensure they were in good shape. "I called Stoneberger to get a second opinion and cost estimate with regard to repair of my non-functioning garage door.  Amber Stoneberger was very responsive to my problem by phone and worked around my schedule to get a service call set up.  She promised that they would fix the problem in one visit and have the parts needed on hand.  Brian Stoneberger arrived on time, assessed the warp in the metal section that was preventing the door from closing and felt confident that bracing the door with one strut would fix the problem.  My garage door hasn't been serviced or lubed in eleven years -- but Brian got it fixed and humming like new.  Aside from installing the strut, Brian lubed everything; he taught me how to lubricate all of the hinges and moving parts; he changed out the dead battery on the exterior key pad, reprogrammed it, and then taught me how to reprogram it; and without asking, he replaced one of the dead lightbulbs in the overhead unit and fixed the problem with the socket that was causing the bulb to go out.  He even gave me a spare can of the proper lubricant for my future use. He did all of this within about an hour.  My impression is that this is a family-owned business that operates with integrity; they take pride in the service they provide and they strive for excellence.  They have earned my trust.  I am noting that my first call was to Door Doctor in Sterling. Door Doctor knew that I wanted the door fixed in one visit but instead sent "an estimator" whose prognosis for the repair vasilated and cost estimate nearly doubled by the time he was done assessing my situation.  So glad I followed my instincts and decided to get a second opinion, and really glad that I found the Stonebergers.

"Juan was very easy to work with even with a little bit of a language barrier. He responded quickly to all my messages and was able to start work quickly. He matched our paint exactly and purchased premium quality products. He went out of his way to order the correct siding boards, taking time to do it correctly. His team was able to tackle all the additional work that popped up including replacing the gutters, changing exterior light fixtures, removing and repairing an old wall exhaust, replacing old shutters and adding trim to the chimney. There were a few delays in the work mostly due to the weather but otherwise he managed time and supplies very well. Will be using him again for my other work inside the house!"

"Travis and Chris were a delightful team, arriving on time, staying with the job, and completing work as promised.  Even though I was at work during most of the job, Travis communicated routinely on email regarding status of the job. Also, Travis and Chris were careful not to recoat the deck during two days when rain threatened, and it did rain. I was surprised on how much sanding and prep work was accomplished before they applied the stain, but every home handyman knows 60-80 percent of the time associated with any repair or maintenance is in the preparation.  Three coats of stain were applied and work was completed on a Saturday, as Travis wanted to take advantage of good weather before the threat of rain came back into the forecast.  In addition deck re-coating, Travis repaired several spots on the underneath patio at minimal cost.  The price of the job was extremely fair - 50% paid before the work started and the balance after completion.  We would not hesitate to call on Graham Restoration for future work.

"As a result of this summer's wind storm, we were left w/a fence that was damaged by a massive tree limb that crashed down through it. Mr. Saunders was easy to reach, quickly gave us an estimate, and set up a time to get the work done. He showed up promptly on the scheduled date to repair our broken fence, as well as take care of the broken limb and haul it away. He was very efficient and it was a job well done. However, after the fact, I needed to obtain a simple invoice for the work done to file with my insurance company, Mr. Saunders has been absolutely impossible to get a hold of now that the work is completed. I was able to reach him once and he assured me he would get the invoice right out to me...but now several emails and voicemails later, he still has yet to send me anything. Even his website is now no longer available online! It's like he has fallen off the face of the earth! Very disappointed!
