VANBECKS Roofing and Siding specialist, a trusted name for over "30" years. Quality service and unbeatable price. You recognize this is hard work as well as we recognize your money is hard earned. Together lets determine the product and price that works perfectly for you. LICENSE#: 2101070952..

"I was extremely dispoointed in the service. We have used VanBeck In the past, the first time a couple of years ago. Good work and reasonable prices. This past summer they did some additional work which I felt was overpriced for the work done but we had agreed to it. I called yesterday to have them take a look at some possible additional water damage and they came out the same day but this is where the good service ended. Bill took a quick look, said I likely didn’t have water damage in the front room but they could see some spots near the eyebrow window where the caulking was not optimal. He also said there was a spot where they had repaired before that could use a bit of work. I asked how much and he said $350. Another gentleman was already on the roof and caulking even though I had not agreed to the work. When I questioned Bill about this, he said Matt said he couldn’t leave it like that and he had to fix it. I said I thought $350 was a lot and Bill said $350 was the minimum to come out. This was not revealed to me on the phone. I asked how long to fix and he said about 30 minutes. We agreed on$100 finally and I don’t think they were here for even 15 minutes. I’m not sure they even fixed the other spot although I can’t be sure as I didn’t check. I felt like I was being fast talked and taken advantage of and wasn’t pleased with even paying the $100 but since the work had already been started I didn’t want to make a fuss. I have recommended VanBeck in the last but will no longer do so."

We are a family owned christian business. My name is Dan and I am a working owner. I have been installing seamless gutter for over 38 years. We are licensed in the state of Michigan and insured for worker's compensation and general liability. We specialize in 5" residential and 6" commercial seamless aluminum gutter. We also manufacture and install our own VanGuard solid aluminum Leaf Cover. Our estimates are free. Please give us a call and I am certain I will be able to meet your needs.

"Very professional outfit. They have done 2 jobs for me in the last 4 years. First was a pole barn, pretty straight forward job. The second was all new gutters on my house, a much more involved project. Quality of product and installation is excellent. And they clean up after themselves. Nice people to work with!"

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Stevensville, MI

Yes, you should remove old insulation if it's damaged, contaminated, or deteriorated. Signs like water damage, rodent droppings, mold, or gaps mean removal is essential to maintain energy efficiency and a safe living environment. If the insulation is intact and functioning well, removal isn't necessary. However, compromised insulation can increase energy costs and pose health risks.

Attic insulation lasts 80 to 100 years; however, its performance starts to decline after 15 years. Insulation loses effectiveness as materials like fiberglass become dirty, wet, or affected by mold and other contaminants. Regular evaluation is critical because reduced insulation performance leads to higher energy loss. A professional inspection confirms when replacement is necessary, ensuring that your home maintains peak energy efficiency and comfort.

Excess attic insulation does not enhance energy efficiency beyond an optimal threshold. When insulation surpasses the necessary level for your region’s climate, additional material does not improve heat retention and may cause moisture buildup. Maintaining the correct balance is essential because over-insulation can lead to unintended issues without lowering energy costs. A professional assessment ensures that the amount of insulation is ideal for performance and efficiency, and helps avoid unnecessary expenses.

R-value is the measure of a material’s ability to resist heat transfer and directly determines insulation performance. A higher R-value means the material retains heat efficiently during winter and minimizes energy loss in warmer months. Selecting insulation with the appropriate R-value for your specific location is essential because environmental conditions and installation areas significantly influence energy efficiency. Over time, external factors like moisture may degrade the R-value, which underscores the importance of periodic evaluation.

Insulation damage occurs in several forms, including mold growth, pest infestations, water intrusion, and electrical harm. Damaged insulation compromises heat retention and significantly increases energy expenses while posing serious health risks. Immediate removal and replacement of compromised insulation are imperative to restore optimal performance and ensure the safety of your home. Regular inspections will identify these issues early, allowing for swift corrective action that maintains efficiency and protects occupants.
