"I called them on a Sunday and said I didn't need an "emergency" appointment, but that I was trying to soak up a drip in the ceiling with fresh paper towels ever couple of hours and did they have an appointment soon? They said they could come over the next day. They gave me a 1PM to 3PM window on Monday, but not wanting to miss two hours of work in the middle of the day, I asked if they could call me at work (about five minutes away) when they were on their way over. They agreed, and I got the call at 2:20 the next day. I met the guy and showed him our drip. He told me we'd been trying to tighten the wrong thing, and showed me the packing nut to tighten, so we could do it ourselves next time. That was the whole repair, but after he made out the invoice and I signed it, he was nice enough to walk around the house with me and look at the outdoor plumbing I was concerned about and answer a couple of questions, free of charge. Not sure if I got the $30 Angies List discount or not. I mentioned it on the phone when I was scheduling it, but I didn't want to insist on a $30 discount on a $50 bill, so I didn't mention it again at the end. All in all, and very good experience."

"Let me tell you, this company is top of the line from beginning to end. I sent an email on the afternoon of May 6, and by 6PM the owner, Randy, called me on the phone and asked be a lot of questions about the house and what the radon count was when tested. He then said he was going to look up specifics about the house online and get back to me shortly, which he did. He then explained the whole process from start to finish and gave me an estimate on the phone, which I accepted. He then drew up a proposal and sent it to me in an email (PDF) , I signed it and sent it back in a reply email. He said he would call me in a day or so when he worked out the schedule for the following week, and surprisingly I was set up for the following Wednesday, May 11, at noon. Two gentleman, Chris and Jason, arrived promptly at noon that day and explained what they would be doing and that it would only take a couple of hours, and of course they were right on. I wrote them a check and thanked them for their GREAT service from beginning to end. WOW! My faith has been restored, there still are good company’s out there, you just have to find them.
