"Keystone Custom Decks was absolutely amazing! This summer we took on a very large outdoor project which included an inground gunite pool, paver pool deck, fire pit, paver patio with an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a 20 x 20 covered deck with a fireplace. We used 3 separate contractors for each phase of our project. Despite a minor setback in scheduling due to Covid, Keystone understood the magnitude of our project and how one phase affected the other. They were able to flex their schedule in order to make sure they weren't holding up the other contractors. When the project started it was like poetry in motion. Daniel and his crew were the ultimate professionals and their workmanship was impeccable. Their methodical approach and receptiveness to our input made the project stress free and enjoyable from beginning to end. They traveled 3 hours daily roundtrip to our home and were still the first contractors on site every day. Keystone uses the strongest and best quality materials to build your deck. There are zero short cuts and you get what you pay for!!! We couldn't be happier with our final product. Thank you Keystone Custom Decks!"

"Shawn and crew did great job handling extra, unforeseen problems in the hardscaping including a new patio as well as walkways. The landscaping required that they put in an entirely new lawn, shrubs and stone. This was hard work and the results are fantastic."

"I called Brent for help pruning back 3 maples in front of my house. I have used Biddle Landscaping recently and have been extremely pleased with his work. My trees had grown out over the road with many low branches. Brent and his crew arrived within a day and did a beautiful job trimming the trees. Thanks for your prompt response Brent."

"If you need it done, and done right, Michael and his team are the people you want working on your house! I contacted Michael about some water we were getting in our basement and needed another bid because I never go with just one bid when I am spending this kind of money. Michael not only gave me an estimate but spent 2 hours educating me on how this works and why it works the way it does. The price was higher than the others but the quality shows it. His team is not a bunch of sub contractors that don't care, they are all his employees and the guys take pride in their work. There were no surprises either, and he told me up front the cost and the time and actually finished earlier than the time estimated, they even did the little details like putting in air fresheners to get the basement to smell nice. I am extremely particular especially when this amount of money is spent and I would hire Michael and his team again in a heartbeat! Michael, if you are reading this review, thank you to you and your team from my wife and I. You have made the basement of our dream home usable again!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Stewartstown, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
