"We are selling our home and as part of the sale the potential buyers wanted a large tulip tree located in front of the garage between the 2 bays removed.   Joe had very good price (though not the cheapest)  -some estimates were almost double his price and was also willing to take on the task, whereas other companies I called seemed to hope the didn't get the job for fear of damaging the garage, driveway or house.
Joe gave me the estimate and was able to start the work within a few days of acceptance of the bid.  It took his crew 2 days to complete the job and they did so without harming any of the surroundings and cleaned up well after the work was finished.  I had little faith but he assured me his crew was up to the task and I was pleasantly surprised when done of the doomsday scenarios that other companies warned of came to be.

"Work with smoothly, even with weather not always cooperating and a few staffing changes throughout the duration of the project. Jason and his crew kept us up to date with progress, rough estimates on % done and remaining, and any delays with material or labor. We also expanded scope and did slight design tweaks through the process, which Jason was accommodating of and provided revised estimates ahead of starting any new work. Provided pictures are one year out after beds have been expanded and planted in."

George was willing to work with the ideas that I had for building the fire pit and patio.  He was very responsive during the project when I would stop him and ask questions, or suggest a different way to do the layout and design.  The patio and fire pit turned out nicely.  On the lawn work - seeding, mulching, leveling - I felt that George was trying to get done and get to another job, and maybe didn't spend as much time and care as I would have liked.  If you hire him for a job, be aware that he is pretty much a one man show, and is sometimes slow to respond to emails and calls, and can get behind schedule quickly when the weather is bad.
