No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. Having dealt with many contractors over the years, I've come to appreciate how rare it is when they show up on time, complete the job to spec and charge what they say they will charge. They also ended up building us a smaller rock wall that was not originally part of the plan and looks beautiful.
