"I'm a local General Contractor. Every time I've gone to R-N-R with a problem, Douglas and his professional team has not only reassured me that it was less of a problem than I perceived it, but lead me through the very best solution to solve the problem. I have never been disappointed. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable, proffessional, and thorough. I will never go to a 'Box Store' again when it comes to plumbing."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"I've gotten good service from them. I have a constant-pressure water system in my house, with a well and a cistern. (1) Earlier they replaced a water tank inside the house that had started leaking. (2) This time they diagnosed and fixed a problem where the cistern pump would run every minute or so even though no water was being used. After some experimentation they determined that there was a small leak in the water line from the cistern to the house. This kind of problem is almost impossible to find and fix without digging up the line, but they were able to fix the pump running by adding a check valve inside the house."

"Had an awesome experience with these guys. We had to do both radon mitigation and sump pump installation. I called 5-10 different places to get quotes, they were the most affordable by a decent margin. Kratos was really great- he was on time, very friendly, wasn't annoyed by our dogs constantly being at his side, etc. He finished the job very quickly and gave great education on how the system works and what we should be looking for to ensure it's functioning well. Additionally, he randomly fixed an electrical issue we were having with some outlets! Totally not his job, but I asked him if he knew a good electrician and by doing some basic trouble-shooting he was able to fix it and save us the cost of having an electrician come by! Highly recommend these guys, no reservations whatsoever"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"Terrill and his son spent about an hour removing a defunct sump pump and installed a new one for us. <br /> He also gave us tons of advice on further water mitigation we could do. <br /> We realize Terrill is swamped (forgive the pun) right now but he remained gracious throughout. <br /> Hopefully, we won't ever need his services again but if we do we'd go back to him in a flash! <br />"

"<p>First Attempt - Was on a Saturday, Arrived within hours of the call. Took about one hour, line could handle normal house outflow.</p> <p>First time we ran our washing machine, about 4 days later, gurgling noises came up from the sewer. Second time, water backed up into our bath tub.</p> <p>Second Attempt - Was on a weekday, arrived an hour after the appointment. They spent about 3 hours. Cleared out tree roots in my home line, close to the main sewer line. They ran a camera down the line and showed me that the line was clear and intact all the way through the main sewer tap. Service call was free, but I paid for running the camera down the line.</p> <br />"

"It went very well. Owner of the business came out personally as some of the problems were very complex. He spent extra effort to get our boiler, which had been run without water, get back on line. Would have been much more profitable for him to call it dead and quote a replacement unit. Husband loved coming home to everything scratched off his "honey do" list (at least the sub-section titled plumbing)! <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Stoneham, CO

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
