"I had a large tree that had just gotten too big, was too close to the house and was starting to lean toward the house. I also had concerns that my air conditioning unit sat under the tree on that side of the house. I really didn’t want a bucket truck driving up in this location either. I was referred to Jimmy by a friend he had done some tree work for, so I gave him a call. He answered his phone right away and then came out to the house within a few days to give me a quote. Very reasonable – better than his competitors. Jimmy and his crew did an excellent job taking the tree down. They were very careful not to damage the house or anything else around the tree. They also trimmed up a large tree that had grown into the power lines that run up to our house. Jimmy also got up on the roof and blew all of the debris from the tree off the roof and cleaned out the gutters - an above and beyond service that I did not expect, but greatly appreciated. Once the tree was down. I requested that they leave the firewood for me – not a problem and they stacked it nicely. The rest of the debris was chipped up and hauled away. They used a leaf blower to totally clean up the yard and driveway and even blew the dust off of our vehicles. Jimmy was very courteous and very conscious of his customer, their property and their need. He and his crew did a great job. He is busy, so be aware that it may take a few days before he can schedule your job, but he will get it done and get it done right. He told me a week or two because the weather hadn’t been cooperating and it had set his schedule behind a bit, but as soon as the weather cleared, he was there – actually took less than a week. They arrived, did the job, cleaned up and were on their way. I would definitely recommend Jimmy’s Tree Service and do plan to use them in the future."

"George, the owner designed landscaping, sent me the plan and we changed a few things. he was very easy to work with and very professional. He came himself to do the work.the planet trees shrubs and flowers and mulched. He watered everuthing as well. He cleaned everything up and left no mess. Quality of work was good.  Quality of customer service and respect for the personal and professional time of customers was terrible.  Mr. Anderson's team was expected to be at my property on several different occasions this year to provide quotes and plans of exterior lighting and landscaping.  Times and dates were set with his "Operations Manager", as well as another young lady who answers the phone.  On the first missed appointment, I scheduled myself out-of-the-office for an entire afternoon so as to be available at the property for what should have been a fairly lengthy walkthrough.  Nobody showed.  I called the office several times, being told someone would call me back immediately.  Finally I received a call that the team had been called away to an "emergency" where a tree had fallen, and would try to come out later.  This communication was received 2 hours after their scheduled time, and after many calls on my part.  I ended up taking an entire afternoon off from work, having no quote done, and having nobody come out later either.

Last year, we had Dirt Cheap come out to our property to remove some shrubs.  Again, they were no-shows on the first date and time scheduled, due to another "emergency" where a tree had fallen.  They were several hours late on the second time scheduled as well, without providing a call to me advising of the fact that they were behind schedule and causing me to lose additional time at work.

The latest instance of poor customer service and lack of professional courtesy was in late March of 2014.  Mr. Anderson was supposed to send me a message with pictures and prices of different landscaping available for our project, and promised while he was on-site that he would have it to us "tonight at the latest".  Two weeks later, we still had not received a thing from him despite several phone calls being made.  Mr. Anderson was made well aware of our frustrations with his and his team's lack of professionalism, and we even told him that we almost felt like we were "trying to hand you our money by continuing to give you chances, and you refuse to take it because you keep making the same customer service mistakes over and over again".  Unfortunately, Mr. Anderson does not seem to realize that he is in a customer service industry, and must show concern and courtesy to them.  Poor communication, lack of follow-up, disregard for other's schedules and needs, and an overall lack of professional courtesy are the first things that come to mind regarding his outfit.  Mr. Anderson and his team are well-mannered, and carry themselves professionally while in the presence of a customer...the only problem is actually getting them in your presence.
