"Gerald is my new handyman! He’s very professional. His service is fast and efficient. I booked him for the assembly of a queen size bed frame & headboard. I requested his services around 9am, he arrived to my residence at 10:30am, then finished at 11:30am! PHENOMENAL!! He ensured that it was to my liking and moved it around until it was in the perfect spot. He also made sure it wasn’t crooked and even informed me how to properly move it if I decide to move it again so that it wouldn’t break or become damaged. Finally got system up and running on 10/5/16.  The system provides complete energy for our house and business. "The salesman missed the first appointment scheduled for 10:00 April 23 - received call from officie at 9:10 He had emergency.scheduled next appointment for April 28 at 10:00 and salesman showed  20 minutes late. He got stuck in traffic.
Salesman was very honest about the deal I had purchased the 6 landscaping lights for $649. I could take the deal but I would be calling again to add additional lights. His ideas were right on and what type of lights and where to put them. The job was scheduled for May 6 and it would take 2 days. They called to say they could come out earlier and they did and installed all of the lights in a day and a half. The lights look great and one of the lights went out just a few weeks ago and I called and they were out the next day. There is a 5 year warranty on the lights.

"I can't say enough good things about Live Electric. Anthony spent a lot of time with me in the planning stages (that he was not paid for) which was really important. He gave good advice on the number and placement of recessed lights and switches-- I was having a hard time visualizing the lighting in the finished space. He gave advice not based on his profit, but what he thought I really needed or didn't need. He did the same with the bathroom lighting and stereo surround wiring and placement. In fact, if not for his advice, I would have spent more money overall for unnecessary lighting, wiring and speakers. He was very patient during this process and came over several times prior to doing the work. I am completely satisfied with all the lighting, electrical, tv and stereo and have no regrets as a result. Live electric also used the best quality equipment and lighting during construction. "We had Ferguson Home Improvements return to our home to paint our sons bedroom and install a ceiling fan.  The room was a 12 x 12 room and our son had been in there as a baby.  So you could imagine the holes from posters, pictures, and just wear and tear. I had already purchased the supplies with the intention of doing this job my self but just could not find the time so we asked them to give us and estimate.  Mr. Ferguson came in and told us sense we had all the materials he would do the room for $2 a square foot and hang our ceiling fan for $125.00.  So for $420.00 they went through made all the walls perfect fixed all the nail pops and holes from the posters and pictures and repainted all the walls.  I thought it was a great deal.  The room came out just awesome we will have them back to do more at our house.  Again thank you so much Ferguson Home Improvements.

"Our Kenmore Front-loading washer was making very very loud noises and we called Baker's for repair.  The gentleman who came out was very professional and knew his stuff.  He quickly confirmed the problem was the bearings and let us know that a complete repair would involve replacing the drum -- because the ball-bearings and drum are a fused unit -- and that the cost would be very high.   He did not have a price, but said that the office would call and give us one.  (We don't really expect to hear from them.)

He graciously removed the dead mouse we found and checked out the water pump because he said that it sounded a little noisier than it should.  He reported after disassembling and reassembling that it looked fine.

I thought the charge was extremely reasonable considering the time he spent talking to me about washing machines in general, and ours in particular.

The only problem we had was with the front office.  They had said that someone would be out 'first thing' and in fact we had to call after lunch to see where our repair person was.  We got the impression that they scrambled to find someone to send out.  Not first-rate service but they did quickly rectify the problem. 

Overall::: I will definitely call them again.  I was very impressed with the service person who came out.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
