"Great experience overall! I do a lot of research before doing anything and so ask a lot of questions and take a long time deciding things. This was NEVER a problem with Leslie. She was always happy to help, left me alone to look, answer questions and give good suggestions. Once I finally decided on some countertop, I was on the list for installation. Guys who showed up to install were quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the countertop had been sized incorrectly or a number transposed so the countertop had to be redone. This was not really a problem to me because the kitchen was progressing fine. However GJ insisted on giving me a discount on the re-install even though they were the ones that lost money. Thank you for that kindness! Great experience working with GJ on everything too. Once installed, my kitchen counter was and is beautiful! Perfectly matching the custom cabinets put in by Mike Sizemore, who was recommended by Counter Culture and who I also highly recommend. Overall A++ to all. In essense, I got an entire kitchen designed and installed for the price of materials and labor. Love my kitchen two years on. Ditto my bathroom!"

"I contacted Advance Alumium around some siding that needed to be replaced on my Owensboro property. As I live out of town, he reviewed the property without me there and the owener (David Haycraft) even agreed to meet me at th property on a Saturday. We discussed options which included removing the old cidar siding, fixing the rotted eves, replacing two windows and replacing the attic vents. <br /> Although, they started a week later than agreed due to a ordering problem with the siding my wife picked out, his team kept in contact throughout the week aprising me of progress or any questions they needed answered. <br /> The finished work was amazing!! They went above the expectation and provided a whole new look for the house and basically saved my roof line in the process!! David met with us again (on a Saturday) to walk around with us and review the work prior to accepting payment. <br /> I would highly recommend them. <br />"

"We just completed installing a motorized retractable awning from [*** Link removed ***] and are super pleased with the quality of the build, appearance and customer support.? This Italian-designed, engineered and manufactured awning is assembled and shipped from RetractableAwnings.com Florida plant, so if you need assistance with the install, you should contact a local handyman, carpenter or contractor.? Ours is a Palermo Plus, 16 ft. wide, with an 11 ft.-10 in. projection.? The Internet salesperson, Eric Scop, V.P., really worked with us to understand all the options and get fabric swatches.? We ultimately selected a combination Rain/Sun sensor and Vibration sensor to automatically retract the awning in case of heavy rain or excessive wind.? I spoke with Rocky, their installation expert, for advice on preparing the ledger board to attach the awning to our vinyl sided home, right below the soffit.? His advice was instrumental in making the install go so well.? Further, the awning arrived already programmed to the Soliris transmitter and the motor limit switches were also set.? It shipped in a fiberboard box (this one was about 17 ft long and 1 ft x 1 ft square, weighing over 200 lbs.), which was extremely tough.? The truck driver ignored the box orientation stickers and used a hand truck to move it from the center, rather than two hand trucks, one at each end, per the clear placarding on the box.?
