"We were very impressed with Jorge. Our sprinkler system has been running only 4 out of 9 circuits for years and we have had difficulty finding someone who appeared to know what they are doing. It is very difficult for someone to bid the job when they don’t really know what the problem is. We got two other bids, but they were just offhand bids like, $250 a sprinkler relay. Jorge turned on the sprinklers (which the other guys did not do) and in about 20 minutes of going through the circuits he had the whole system diagnosed. He could not, of course, give us a firm price, but we trusted his expertise. The work is not cheap, but his team works fast and knows what they are doing. I think it took about 2 days and he had installed a new controller and got all the circuits working, including one that we thought was buried under the sidewalk, and one that we had never hooked up. We had him come back later to add an additional circuit and put in landscape lighting. He was very patient with me about showing me how to program the controller, since the written instructions that came with it were terrible. He is coming back to winterize the system for us. He is the first person we will call for any of our landscaping equipment maintenance."

"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

"Ryan and crew came to our home for a fairly big job.  Pull tree stumps, grade yard, transplant bushes and shrubs and install 8 cycle sprinkler system and install fire pit.  We couldn't have been happier as Ryan and crew were very punctual and very friendly to work with.  I would and have recommended them!"

"Wall is lovely- BuT not as agreed upon. No gravel behind wall that I can find. West end at least 1 row too low. not color agreed upon, extra work not completed as agreed . Block to be removed and placed on garden was instead broken up and put behind block leaving large holes that animals took up residence in. metal fence posts were bent behind wall instead or removed. I never received a plan of project. Sprinkler head was removed and then end buried under wall instead of just marking where the end was. I wrote a much more detailed description but the site crashed and I do not have time to repeat. Angie's recommends that I write this review as part of the process of working out difficulties. I agreed to pay extra for the last bit of old block and few posts to be removed- which I have not done yet. They did leave the surrounding area clean.
