"I decided to finally remodel my two bathrooms and had no idea where to start. With a co-worker's recommendation combined with the Angie's List reviews, I contacted Just Do It. Their quote was on the top end, but I am pleased I elected to contract with them. They were very engaged in showing me samples of their work, and once work started they were very responsive to any questions or concerns or changes - their overall goal was to have the job done correctly, rather than just done. They cleaned up at the end of each day. They made a process that is a bit disruptive in the best of circumstances very easy. I would definitely hire them again

"He explained the basic removal and installation procedures covered in the Angie big deal. I had a few faulty parts that needed to be replaced at a additional fee. He installed a new 50 gal Rheem gas water heater. He replaced defective inlet water valve plus both flex hoses. also removal of exhaust blow off pipe. He had to purchase parts locally, I supplied the new gas line hose and fitting. He cleaned up his work area and removed old water heater plus excess scrap debris. Also, explained in detail warranty and operational procedures and safety issues."

"We initially hired them to do a complete bathroom remodel and also added some other things such as installing recessed lights in one of the bedrooms and den, and replacing some windows in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. We first met with Shay from Precise Home Builders and we liked the pictures, especially the tile work, and his description of the work. His bid was not the cheapest compared to other companies but it sounded like they knew what they were doing so we hired them. Overall, the project got done but it was a hassle from beginning to end. They initially promised it would take 5 weeks (also written in the contract), but it took 8 weeks instead. Communication was very difficult although Shay was responsive. However each day we would find something that would need to be fixed or redone and had to point it out. For example, if we left it up to them, the door to the bathroom would open directly against the sink, and we would not have a medicine cabinet installed which we really wanted. They wanted to charge extra to demo the door frame just to change the swing direction of the door, so we had someone else do it. We also had bought a medicine cabinet which they told us they could not install recessed because of a pipe in the wall and they didn't tell us that until halfway through the project. After much debate, they finally agreed to surface mount it. They were finally able to install it. The shower niche was also not centered in relation to the window so had to be redone. There were many other small imperfections such as gaps in the paint, gaps in the grout left unfinished, and dry wall that had to be fixed along the way. We felt that many things were not done right the first time, and they had to be go back and fix them. Although the project was finished and the bathroom looks nice, there were still several things that we noticed that had to be fixed. The toilet was not secured to the ground and wobbles back and forth when sitting down. The air vent in the ceiling was found to be loose. Thankfully, they came back and were able to fix everything without any questions. The owner, Moshe, also got involved to address our previously complaints with the experience. I’d say overall the end product and the customer service were satisfactory."

"I hired Yari based on positive Angie's List reviews. Overall, I'd give him a luke warm rating, and MIGHT use him again, though would probably investigate some other options first. The work done overall was good, however...
The clean-up was poor. There was a LOT of small broken tile bits and dust left over after they replaced the kitchen tiles. I have cats (as they saw), and they could have very easily tracked sharp small bits of broken tile on their paws from the loads of it left on the kitchen floor and in the grooves where the grout is. When they repaired the broken stucco outside, they left dust and debris at the site and obviously threw the remaining water/plaster/mortar/whatever mix through a fence and into my neighbor's yard (am going to try and attach pix - I think I can do that here). The price he quoted me was for parts and labor ASSUMING I had all those parts already. I had to go myself with one of his workers to a nearby plumbing supply store to pick up needed items.
He was very responsive in person and by phone, and very cordial and prompt. The work was decent enough. I don't know enough about home repairs and contracting to know how fair the price was, but it seemed to be in the ballpark.
Overall recommendation : Proceed, but with caution, and make sure you're clear from the outset what exactly your needs are and what exactly he's promising to provide. And make sure they clean up properly before leaving."

"We used Gene's company in the past to do some work in our bathroom. We liked the work he did in there and decided to use him for our kitchen remodel. Gene showed up with his laptop and we sat down and told him what we wanted. We originally were going to do just the kitchen and add on a washer/dryer. However with removing a partition and a partial wall and laying it out in an "L" shape we were able to maximize use of a small space.
They called me with the exact time that they would show up every morning. They told us what was going on that day. They made sure everything was covered due to a dust factor that I knew would be involved. First they gutted the whole kitchen. Tore out the old cabinets, removed the old counter tops and old flooring. We had a dinning room set removed and they donated it to the Good Will. They gave me the name and business number to purchase all new appliances and said we can get good deals by using his name which we did and we got excellent service and excellent deals on a new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer, sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. When it came time to pick out new cabinets, Gene came to our condo with cabinet door samples and colors. I advised Gene that I was looking for white cabinets and something modern. I wanted granite with blue in it. Gene suggested Blue Pearl Granite. When it came time to pick out the flooring, the granite and back splash Gene met us at all these locations. It was a huge relief having him there at all steps of this project. He made sure we got good deals on the granite, floor tile, also came to the house with samples of the flooring we were looking at which is porcelain tile that looks like wood. Gene made sure the color choices we picked were not funky and mismatched.
Communication never lacked between Gene, myself and the crew. His crew was always polite and professional. The customer always came first. The end of the day they cleaned up, put their tools away until the next day. Gene also sent me a detailed email laying out how this was all going to come together.
Watching the whole process from beginning to end was amazing. The final results were very impressive. My wife and I are extremely happy with Genes work. I will definitely recommend All American Traditions to all my friends and family.
