"Dave is a no nonsense guy to work with and now the house looks great. The job appears flawless as he paid a lot of attention to prep work before a single drop of paint was applied. The prep included repairing stucco that bubbled up from flooding and gouging from debris. He dug out the base of the walls to repair the stucco damage. He was on time and accurate with the job estimate and finish time. I would hire him again."

"Adam, the owner, was efficient, knowledgeable, truthful, ethical, pleasant, friendly, and covered all the bases. He explained the process of his work, whether, painting or remodeling and was thorough and timely throughout the job and also sent photos of his progress. He was our contractor and became someone we could trust and went the extra mile for us. We would absolutely recommend him and are thankful for his service."

"George was very responsive…after reviewing photos of furniture provided a quote which was accepted. He arrived at time; used drop cloths to protect surface and finished and cleaned up the area before they left. We are very happy with the project."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Sun City Center, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
