"Purchased a new heater 3 years ago, the heater is no longer working they came out said it needed two new parts. This happened on Sunday 11/9. We were told the parts would be here 11/10. That was not the case. When we called they said they would not be here till 11/15. The parts finally arrived and guess what the heater is still not fixed. They stated another part is needed. They said that they would be back 11/18. They did not come back. heater is still not working, and from what we are being told they may not be able to fix it till 11/22. This is ridiculous. It's a new heater we should not have issues like this and the service has been less then par. It's freezing temps have ranged from 18-50 out side. Worst company to work with. Extremely disappointing!! Having to run space heaters to keep from freezing so the power bill will be very expensive. They should be paying for all this extra expense. On top of it we had to purchase the space heaters to just get by. What a joke."

"The Dirty Plumber (Jack) is the only plumber we will use. Our problem started in December with a dripping shower head. After giving another company a month to solve the problem, including ordering the wrong part, we hired Jack. He knew immediately that the wrong part was ordered and had the right one within a week. Yes, our shower fixtures are old and high end, so when the handle wouldn’t work he again knew immediately what the problem was and showed up with the part to fix it! He is responsive, prompt, knowledgeable, plans ahead and stands behind his work. We have some future plumbing projects and he already has creative suggestions to save us money. Thank you Jack!"

"Mr. Rooter lied to me and didn't do the work they had been paid to do. I paid Mr. Rooter $4000 to replace the sewer line at my house. Their bid clearly stated, "replace sewer line from the house to the city main". Two years later I began having sewage backups. I discovered that Mr. Rooter's sewer line replacement stopped 3 feet short of the city main line. Those three feet now have root intrusion and need to be replaced. The owner, Jerry Enwald, sent me a letter admitting that their replacement did not go all the way to the city main line. He then claimed he talked to a City Inspector who told him "anything five (5) feet off of the City Main Line is considered the city main line". Therefor, he wrote, they had fulfilled the contract. This is like an Uber driver stopping five blocks from your house and saying "anything 5 blocks from your house is considered your house". It's untrue and it's fraud. I even talked to the city inspector who he quoted. The Inspector told me he never said anything of the sort. These people are liars and cons. Do not hire them. They underbid the competition by not actually doing the work."

"I have given Paul’s two chances to do the right thing and refund me for two separate visits, where two separate technicians, completely misdiagnosed, my oil, furnace, and didn’t even bother to see what the actual problem going on was. The first technician told me that it was just a fan switch that got turned on somehow that was causing it to only blow cold air. The issue was not fixed so a second one came out and I paid a second service call fee. This seemed odd, because they didn’t properly diagnose the problem the first time, but whatever. The second technician tried to tell me that the system was far too large for my 2000 square-foot house and was installed improperly and was creating a soot problem, and that it had to be completely replaced as What it would take to clean it would cost more than a new system. He also indicated that oil was completely obsolete now and basically told me that I would most likely need to convert to a completely different type of heating system upwards of $25,000. Something didn’t quite sit right with me, so when they reached out to see if I was ready to schedule an appointment to have the new electric heating system installed, I told them that we weren’t going to be doing it anytime soon since winter was now over. I ended up calling around and was referred to someone who specifically specializes in oil furnaces. He came out, ran some diagnostics and figured out that the only reason why it was blowing cold air was that it needed a good cleaning, and a new filter. That was all it needed in order to properly function. The furnace was not too big for the square footage of my house, and no, it was not improperly installed. The post technician also led me to believe that my furnace was installed in the early 90s. The new furnace technician actually checked the serial number and two spots confirmed that they both matched up, and told me that the serial numbers have a code in them that will tell you exactly when they were manufactured. Mine was manufactured in 2003, not the early 90s. He completed those tasks, and now my furnace works perfectly. The two technicians from Paul’s never even bothered to look at the oil filter. I am completely disgusted that a local company that touts that they’re so knowledgeable and heating systems. Completely failed to properly diagnose such a simple thing and tried to then sell me on a new $25,000 system. I called them to ask for a refund for the two service calls, as I should not be out that money when they failed miserably to properly diagnose the issue. I was assured that a manager named James would call me back promptly. And he never has. As a business owner myself, I cannot believe that a company would just blatantly refuse to do the right thing and make something right when they screw up so badly"
