"Marvin & his crew did a fantastic job creating a beautiful front yard for me. They installed a paver walkway, flower beds, installed stone River rocks, mulch and planted flowers. They also placed an area of sod where I could not grow nice grass. They are friendly and want to make sure their customer is pleased with each step of their work. "Scott did a fabulous job and we are very happy with our walkway.  From the beginning he was very professional.  He responded to our request on Angie's list very promptly, came out within a couple of days to give us an estimate, and told us he would call us at the end of July, which he did.  He stuck with his original estimate, no surprises.  He also corrected problems with the original design by installing tread stones on the edges of the stairs.  It not only looks so much better, but is much more functional and will last longer.  I used to love that all of my flowers covered up my ugly walkway.  Now I don't want my plants hiding the walkway because it looks so good.  It is also secure, and draining properly, whereas the old stones had sunk and collected water.  We would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for masonry work.  Oh, and I should mention that we got an estimate last summer from someone who never came back to do the work.  He was going to charge us almost as much as Scott, but never picked up on the fact that we were missing tread stones, and his estimate did not include the cost of tread stones.  He was not a true mason like Scott.

"Vicki  met with us to discuss our objectives then produced several drawings for us to select from.  She recommended two hardscape contractors who we obtained quotes from.  Once we selected the contractor, she worked closely with him during installation.  She even came to the house when they were laying the stones to ensure that they were arranged exactly in the pattern she had designed.  It was a great experience, start to finish."

"Louie, his wife Lordis and his son Andrew were all more than friendly, professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Louie takes pride in his work and his family business. He was more than happy to show me an album of his body of work. He was willing to work within my budget and was the only one to suggest the approach we took (rather than a complete overhaul of the tile and coping which would have cost anywhere from 2-3 times as much $). I wont say his price was cheap, but then if you own an in ground pool and have dealt with any major repairs to the body of the pool...you know that nothing is cheap. And frankly it's not the kind of work I think anyone should skimp on. You're paying for expertise and craftsmanship, and Louie and Andrew's work was top notch. They reset a couple coping stones that they found were loose, all without bumping the price of the job. Andrew noticed the mouth of the skimmer needed attention so he went ahead and replastered it as well, not something we had discussed. They did leave the grout line of the reset stones unfilled, but i discussed with Andrew what I could use to fill it, was a quick and easy job for me after the fact. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future should I have any need. Thanks Louie and fam!"
