Not to worry, though, as MDTech came up with a solution for us. Although they did not have the tools to do minor carpentry work, they were able to carefully remove a small board from the cabinet opening and suggest how it could be cut to fit in order to finish off the job. "Bought the $58 diagnostic/repair deal from E Appliance.  Set up a date/time.  Office lady was helpful in that when I had to reschedule the date she did so with no problem.  Joseph came out (about 10 minutes after the scheduled window) and gave us an honest diagnostic: our oven is very old (50 years maybe?) and the needed parts are no longer available.  That's all we needed to hear because now we get to have it replaced by our home insurance!  Quick and tidy service.  Thanks!
