"They went out of their way to pick the carpet up, have it cleaned and returned within a week, considerably quicker than other estimates. The cleaning was excellent, and at a price that beat other estimates."

"From start to finish this was a great experience (other than having to prepare by putting things away to have the floor installed ??) customer service was excellent and very responsive to my questions - and I had plenty. The crew that installed was courteous, professional and friendly and made sure I was satisfied with the work, which I was. I absolutely love the new flooring and baseboards! The quality of materials and workmanship is A+ I am not difficult, but I expect a job to be done well. ?????????? to the entire team!"

"Again, <strong><em>REVA'S FLOOR DECOR INC. does carpet repair</em></strong> <br /> Reva, the owner, was an absolute delight to work with.  She was a partner, not simply a vendor.  It was clear to me that she gets great satisfaction from helping those who seek out her assistance.  She is very efficient, if not by nature, then by necessity as the times that I have met with her she was in high demand and was not lacking in customers.  Although she had much higher dollar customer than I, she made me feel that I was just as important to her as anyone else. <br /> The actual work was performed professionally and in a timely manner.  The installer was very personable, clearly experienced, and took a great deal of pride in the quality of his work.  He was clean, well-groomed and very appropriate in all of our interactions. <br /> I am very satisfied with the final product and if I ever need any additional carpet or other flooring work done I will absolutely have it done by Reva's Floor Decor Inc. <br />"

"We were getting our house ready to list, and needed to replace carpet in a couple of bedrooms. Found Carpet Closeouts and went in late on a weekend. They had a huge selection of some good, reasonably priced neutrals that were perfect for what we needed. Scheduled the install within a couple of days. Installers are independent contractors that Carpet Closeouts uses, but they were great - arrived ahead of schedule, and finished the work fast. Hauled out our old carpet too. Will definitely use Carpet Closeouts for some custom size area rugs we need in our new house."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Superior, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
