"Not on time on both visits. Did not listen to my issue and came on the first trip (late) without the parts to complete the repair. Very expensive, but in fairness, maybe that is what a simple garage door repair (half-hour labor and minimal parts) cost."

"A few days ago my garage door became inoperable. I called Brace Yourself. They responded immediately. Miguel scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time. Identified the problem, explained in detail what he needed to do to repair the door. Miguel did an exceptional job. He was professional, communicated well, courteous, proficient and efficient, skillful. He completed the job in thirty minutes. I will recommend him to anyone that is looking for a superior handyman."

"Reed had the problem figured out literally before the door finished opening to let him in (broken spring). He replaced the springs, the rollers, and cables quickly and had everything working again. We would definitely use this company again."

"very well - extra work was requested (replacing the garage door seal) which was completed once the part came in"

"Based off of the other reviews and the fact that A & R listed that they were open on Sundays I gave them a call.  I was off work all day Monday, so we made an appointment.  About two hours or so before the scheduled appointment I got a call from Ron and he was at my house working on my garage door.
I couldn't be happier with the service that Ron and his worker did on my garage door.  Very professional and I never felt like he was trying to up-sell me on anything I didn't need to keep my garage door working well.
The only thing I have to do now is get used to how smooth and quiet my garage door is now.  It used to make a lot of noise going up and down.
Thanks Ron! I'll be recommending your company to anyone who needs garage repairs!

"Absolutely fantastic. Michael was very professional and courteous. Excellent customer service. My garage door was fixed immediately. I highly recommend Onyx Garage Doors and Gates. Thank you for such excellent service."

"The services with A2Z Garage Door was exceptional.  Our garage door was sagging on one side - about 2-3 inches lower than the other side. When I called for service, they let me choose the time frame when I wanted them to come - I chose that afternoon and they gave me the time between one and three.  They arrived around 2:00.
John, the service man, said the problem was that the cable on one side was unraveling.  When he took it off he showed me that it was in very bad shape, and said we are lucky that my husband saw the problem before it could have snapped and hurt us. The other side was worn, but not in as bad of shape.  He also replaced the rollers, so the door goes up and down smoothly and he rebalanced the door.  He didn't have any rubber to weatherstrip the bottom of the door, so said he'd stop by the next day to finish the job.  However, his son arrived about an hour and a half later, and had the weatherstripping replaced in minutes.
What seemed like a big crisis in the morning, is a great looking door by supper time.  Their prices were exactly what they quoted to me, and didn't seem too high.  Since I was a returning customer they didn't charge for the service call.  This is the third time we have used them, but the first time while on Angie's list.  We plan to keep them as our regular garage door repairman, but we hope we don't have to see them again too soon.
