"After meeting with a number of other contractors for our project, we decided to hire MD Construction. We hired MD Construction to replace the failing retaining wall in our driveway as well as installing steps to a paved pathway that leads to our yard. We met with Miguel (the owner of the MD Construction) and he is very knowledgeable with the process and materials involved. They gave us a great price and provided us with a copy of their insurance and NJ contractor’s license. When they started the work, we had very bad rainstorms the entire week, which made their job even harder. However, they were diligent and professional throughout the process and completed the project on time and within budget. The wall looks great and is an appealing improvement to the home. "Roca Construction called me back in 20 minutes and showed  up at my house in less than an hour. We talked about all the problems/projects I had in mind. He gave me ideas and listened my ideas.  We decided to break the job to 2 different  jobs and do the steps and all the cement work first. Roca and his work men showed up at my house next morning around 8 am and started working.All the  workmen are  nice, polite, hard working and easy going. They returned every morning around the same time including Saturday and Sunday to get everything done. Roca has good ideas to solve problems and surprises that come about when you fix nearly 100 year old house he also has an excellent eye for detail. He has knowledge in many areas of building and fixing which is very handy. All the work turned out super and new brick steps look great and they match well with the existing stone front wall. "Two guys showed up on time and got to work immediately inspecting and vacuuming and snaking the fireplace and chimney flue. They operated form the roof and inspected the entire chimney from top to bottom. Both men answered my lay questions kindly and with plenty of detail about minor and major issues they found and the forecasted schedule of when I should address them. They did NOT do the classic inspect-and-force-you-into-buying-a-new-liner routine and that was much appreciated.  They took their time and did not rush the service or question/answers.
